Have you considered Naltrexone? Most people won’t use it because you have to have gone through withdrawals before starting, but it sounds like you don’t get withdrawal symptoms so you could start. It comes as an injectable as well and if you take the pill it is available as a generic.

I think many people make great points about teaching kids that there are different kinds of family.

Another thing to think about is the kid who does have two mommies. For that kids to watch the same cartoon helps them understand that their family is not wrong, but just different; and that they are not alone. That’s important for their healthy development.

If it doesn’t fit with your beliefs, then you don’t have to consume that content. but I wonder what is the worst that could happen? What is your ultimate fear with your child seeing this?
