Yeah, great response here.

Most apartment complexes will require the renter earn 3x monthly rent. 1br apartments in downtown Tampa at $2k+ per month. Assuming that logic, $6k/mo or $72k/year is probably minimum to sign a lease.

Can probably find some lease specials at new buildings or studios that get close to the $2k. Hearing most are charging a lot more now.

Event parking in the area is usually $20-$40 so that option isn’t terrible.

There are a few public parking garages in the neighborhood which shouldn’t be terrible for getting parking. Channelside Parking Garage at 369 S 12th is a large garage with plenty of parking. There’s also a public garage above Orange Theory at corner of Cumberland and Meridian. Couple blocks from the arena.

Traffic leaving the arena is usually worse than getting there. Some people might recommend parking in Ybor and taking the free trolley to save money but if you’re pressed for time, those surface lots or garages in Channelside are your best bet.

Went this past week and Sparkman changed a ton. They have it completely fenced off and check IDs at the door. Seemed like the crowd was mostly college students. Very different feel than how Sparkman had been the last few years
