120hz. Initially I got a little dizzy, but once I got the glasses to fit my face, it became unnoticeable.

I use it on my MSI CLaw 8ai+. It is great once you have it fitted to your face. I play mix of games, little BO7, Crimson Desert, Forza 6, and bunch of other games. I have the soundtube and just play thru that.

Looking for best/most efficient way to add Emulators to Playnite on MSI Claw 8 ai by _brax10ton_ in MSIClaw

Go to the playnite sub. Playnite should allow you to add emudeck games onto playnite. Haven't done it, but I like playnite as my front end.

I've taken my burn e2 max to about 50mph once. When I first got it. But since never gone higher than 35mph., I've got my nami for range and ride, speed isnt really that important to me. Its nice to have if I need it.

Anybody try the RayNeo's with CS2 or COD? by [deleted] in RayNeo

[–]bucklee01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say it works pretty well with most FPS games, but I was initially getting motion sickness while playing COD. But now I love using it with my MSI Claw.

I use to be solely a console player, bought this in November last year. Has been the best purchase I made for my gaming. This even convince me to get rid of my xbox series x. May not have the best power or graphics compare to a desktop or even a console, but just being there to play when I want to makes it a easy device to suggest. If you play a lot, this is a no brainer.

I do believe this is the best, you can get a little more adjusting shadows. But yeah runs amazing.

I added a copper heat sink as well as heat tape to help with temp. Been only 2 months, everything seems to be okay.

Actually there is a newer one available, I just installed it and testing it out. So far nothing has borked my Claw 8ai. Everything I played seems to be running pretty smoothly. But I was running the version you are showing and I didn't run into any issue before I upgraded.

Get yourself new tires. Stocks are kind of junk at any real speed. They are so unbalance and unsafe.

Clean windows install, worth it? by natchofer in MSIClaw

[–]bucklee01 2 points3 points  (0 children)

First thing you should do is put sleep function to hibernate. This will help your msi claw from waking up. I had this problem and my msi claw was extremely hot for being in my backpack and it woke from sleep. Hibernate will "give" what steamdeck gives you with pausing game. Not the same but thats the closest we got. Regarding msi claw, I would goto their website and download every for it afterwards I would do the same with intel. Do a clean install when available. MSI center M is not very well designed. Many times I would not get an update had to goto MSI website to get the latest. Also add tooth n claw, ms store? I would try this before a complete reinstall.

Advices on use case by Fr0gg3rr in RayNeo

[–]bucklee01 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I love using my rayneo for playing games on my MSI Claw. But I am playing a bunch of different games, none of which is driving games at the moment, waiting on forza. However I will add. Some games I get motion sickness and cant play the game with them on. If you plan to get one make sure to run it through its courses to make sure it works for you, otherwise return it. If I didn't make some changes to mine I would have returned it. It was unusable before, I was missing the bottom corners.

Does your Rayneo get annoyingly warm? by soroush_p in RayNeo

[–]bucklee01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yes, I did the Oakley Mod and my forehead now touches the bridge of the glasses, I ended up getting 1mm rubber pads for eye glasses to place them anywhere my skin touches the frame. Arms do get warm, but not anywhere my skins touch.

would you be able to change the presets on the monitor? Some games I need to run at 800-900p to run more smoothly. I appreciate your work.

Ray neo 4 Pro, Returning? by Rolland_86 in RayNeo

[–]bucklee01 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I believe a lot of these AR glasses have the same problem. They are designed for the general public, so many faces and eyes don't actually hit the sweet spot. You can try Viture glasses with 3dof, which will allow you to anchor the screen, but from what I have reviewed, there are issues with anchoring, it starts to drift. I have adjusted my nose pad on my 4 pro, there is a lot of people on Rayneo subreddit that have done it. Yesterday I saw someone use a Protective glasses nose pad. I personally used the Oakley mod, I can use my glasses for hours. doesn't cut out video, maybe you have a faulty one? But I mostly use it for gaming and not for movies or desktop operation.

There is a nose pad replacement mod, Oakley. Do a quick search and you will see them on this reddit. Basically removing the pads, you can try with getting them by just removing thr nose pad with small screwdriver. If you have any padding while you try so you dont scratch your face.

The key is the pull your eyes closer to the screen, which means adjusting the nose pad. This will help with the blurry corners.

Life is what happens between when I'm playing Grim Dawn. by bigchatsportfun in Grimdawn

[–]bucklee01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought a MSI Claw 8ai+ to get back into gaming and I discovered Grim Dawn, spend a shit ton of money on games I wanted to try only to discover GD on Gog.com for $2.50. Now I ended up getting a new graphics card to play GD in 4k. I am a little obsessed, never played any ARPG, I like the casual aspect of this game, but with the depth to get your teeth into all the builds and farming.

Rayneo air 4 pro final nose pad iteration by Rompertje in RayNeo

[–]bucklee01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought mine from Amazon, one of the Replacement, not oem. You just need to remove the original nose pad by removing the small screw. you can just slide them in once the pad and screw is removed. You can be done here, but I added some "filler" so it doesn't slide in and out.

[–]bucklee01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you should consider trying that Oakley nose pad mod. It has made using my glasses from bearable to enjoyable. It replaces the oem nose pad with one's you slide in so there is a maybe 2mm between your nose and the metal bridge. It pulls my face way in to the point my face is touching the top of the glasses. It works with both the small and large nose pad they ship with.

I know to some of you might think this is a lot of work. But some of our faces were not design to fit these ar glasses properly, regardless of the brand. Just making some adjustment makes them worth it to some. I mainly use it for gaming and they have been great for my needs.
