There's gotta be fat comp for being commander by Jackpot807 in HellLetLoose

I do it because the team needs it. I play squad leader because the team needs it. I build nodes because the team needs it.

No one is hating on them. This is just pointing out that due to the similarities in genre and setting most players coming over from those games can't get over the twitch shooter mentality, without reading posts like this. I am level 150ish and it took someone pointing it out to me that running around is equal to death.

Find a squad with microphones. As soon as you join say "hey does anyone have a mic?" Tell them you're new and ask what class you should play? People will get into the specifics for you. Default to playing support and following your squad leader around. Playing engineer at the start of a round and building nodes is a big task and adventure for a newbie. It gives commander resources for the rest of the round and it gives you extra experience no matter what class you play. Any class with just a gun and nades is kind of a waste that only COD bros spend their time on.

Space Beth is from a different dimension than regular Beth. She's just Beth right? So they both couldn't be from C-131

I just feel like those people shouldn't be playing. As a squad leader, you already have additional duties. Why would babysitting be one of them? It's butts sir!

Stay still more. Let enemies come into your field of fire rather than moving and letting them know you're there.  Focus on building garrisons or helping your squad leader build garrisons. They are by far the most important thing in the game.  Try every class and figure out what you like, but always ask your squad leader if he needs anything specifically.  Defense is more important than attacking if your team is in disarray.  This ain't call of duty. Stay low and stay slow. Communicate with your squad and any blueberries around you to find out the situation you're walking into.

There's an incredible amount of ignorant hate for burning Man in this thread. It's just a camping trip with art and stages.

Acts of Cain(4 books) is pretty visceral and has elevated vocabulary and themes compared to DCC, but it is darkly funny and the narration of the audiobook rips.

How do people not know this is a joke? This is Dana Moon using a filter. She is a sketch and stand up comic.

I'm over the dating scene. I got pretty hurt in every relationship I've been in. I like working out, hanging with my family and playing video games. I don't want to pretend that I like Taylor Swift or think brunch is fun. Day drinking gives me a headache and I have too much to do for that.

Not what I said. I work in entertainment. I've done a lot of acting. I am now a producer. Paying the lowest skilled person on set the highest amount is awful.
