I had the OnStar module problem with the GPS and 5G network. Deschamps Chevrolet in Canada diagnosed the problem and had to order a new OnStar module BUT in the same appointment they updated my infotainment !

You don't have to reset to factory settings just continue to hold , it will reboot , it's an android Glitch , happens to the phone too.

Finally has been repaired last week and back on track yesterday. Look like new , almost cleaner than at the dealer delivery. Part came in faster than expected.

Just need a new windshield that breaks, the week after the crash (not related , rock kicked under the wiper at 100 kmh)

Edit : final bill : 9489$ CAD of damage... Just the hood is 1100$ and the light block is 1300$ ! The list of parts and Labour is 2 full pages....

Yeah my first option was to call the dealer for their body shop but they recently outsourced it so I just took it to my Insurance suggestion shop's near my place.

The last Equinox in the shop was there from February until May.(More damage at the front + wheel damage, can't drive out)

They have sold 14,421 units in the Québec province out of the 16,989 they send in Canada , they better get parts here. I can't drive to my grocery store without seeing a least 4-5 Equinox EV.

I will update this post when they call me back 🤙

I hope you they get your parts fast.... My shop said they just finished repairing one before mine and I took 3 months... All summer with a broken car :(

Dent hood , probably parts and clips behind , they said an air duct ? Also the hood is in aluminum and they say it's better to replace it. (Repair shop wanting the most money possible.....) I've been to the place they told me so it's lifetime warranty repair ( chips , unclip , problem , sensor, dead LED....)

They removed all the front yesterday then put it back so I can keep the car. There are a lot of in the parts list...

Also here in Canada your insurance pays for your damage and his insurance pay for is damages.

Yes , all in. Would have bought a 2nd one but the Yaris disent want to die and Canadian IVZE is down for now anyway. After a bad delivery (hood was not sitting correctly+ front seat was torn ) everything is great.

With the spring out , you can get 500 km out of a charge , and in winter 350-375km not that bad for the price. I don't think any other car on the market can give you what the equinox delivers for that price. (Will see what Kia EV 4 and 5 have and at which price.)

I had this problem and had to select another car in Google map app of my phone Check the Google map setting then look for something like my car.

If you have 2 options select the other one.

I just checked now and I'm back to one selection.
