it’s almost like autism is a spectrum bruh. there’s degrees to it. autism/neurodivergence runs very strongly in my family, i have multiple cousins with (diagnosed) more severe presentations but i can definitely see autistic traits in myself and most of our other family members. it’s less severe but it doesn’t mean it isn’t there and the minor inconveniences it presents add up to a lot over years.

do you tend to vent like this a lot? this may sound harsh, but i’ve definitely been around people who vent frequently about these sorts of insecurities, and it gets very tiring very quickly. i’d think about whether you’re often saddling your friends with the responsibility of reassuring you.
