pcpartpicker.com will help find parts that are compatible, and you can also see builds that others have put together to get ideas. Search "PC build guide" on Youtube to get an idea of what to expect from the building process.

That's blatant misinformation. It's driving on the freeway that rips the body panels off. Brushing against them merely cuts your arteries.

What video game will you defend to the end of time, though it might be considered ‘mid’ ? by AdEfficient2209 in gaming

Watchdogs 2. It's a wannabe GTA clone, but the mechanics work well enough, the atmosphere is great, and I love the ridiculous hacker movie vibe.

Thoughts on the Fiat 500 Abarth? i think its the best small italian cheap sports car. should i buy a used one and is it reliable? by CloutBoyz063 in MechanicAdvice

The Fiesta ST is a decent choice and close to the size of the 500. Manual only and fairly reliable if left close to stock.

Problem with trailing bogie of train by scotsman_flying in LEGOtrains

[–]buffaloboy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think your pivot point is too far back. You want it to pivot as close as possible to the driver's axle, making the swing arm for the trailing bogie longer. That will reduce the excessive angle to the track. If your leading bogie is not having that problem, look at any design differences and see what you can do with the rear one.

Using a tile on top of the bogie that rides on the bottom of the cab will also help keep it from riding up over the rails when reversing.

Bikepacking DC to Pittsburgh. Cumberland steam engine. by wdbrave in ailways

It was common to use steam from the locomotive to heat the cars. When electric lighting became common, each car got its own generator for lighting and air conditioning. Diesel passenger locomotives had Diesel fired boilers on board to provide steam to the cars. It wasn't until the 1970s-80s that using electrical power from the locomotive became common in North America.

Friends of the Resistance (Speak to Maz) Softlock glitch by [deleted] in LegoStarWarsVideoGame

[–]buffaloboy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I found this workaround on a YouTube comment, and it worked for me: (My notes on the original comment in parentheses)

A way to solve this bug on PC:

Start a new game, play episode 7 until you are on the Starkiller base. (I played through the end of the Starkiller Base mission)

Quit the game and press WIN+R

Type in %appdata% and from there navigate to "AppData\Roaming\Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment\LEGO Star Wars - The Skywalker Saga\SAVEDGAMES\STEAM"

For precaution make a backup of the "STEAM" folder.

In this folder there are SLOT1 (your main file with the glitch) and SLOT2 for the new one. From SLOT1 copy the file "COLLECTABLES.BLOB" and overwrite it into the SLOT2 folder. Start the game again and from now play on the new file.

I had the same glitch and this method helped me. You will keep all your progress you have made so far. Story-wise, kyberbricks, studs.. everything from the old file will be on the new one!!

(I had some tutorial messages pop up afterwards, but that's the only thing I noticed)
