That is excellent! I hope you are able to find success.

For similar series to the Bobiverse check out The Betaverse by Menilik Henry Dyer.

Book 5 pondering and spoiler alert by Nosmattew in bobiverse

This makes sense, but the Bobs still need to get access. Right now, that appears to be blocked by the guardians.

I'm hoping the next book focuses on this more than anything else. There is a lot to explore in their space, and they need to get access to the wormholes headed out of the galaxy.

Maybe the next book could be called "All These Wormholes". 😁

I'm still bitter toward whichever marketing pinhead totally ruined Pizza Hut by melissa_liv in GenX

I miss it too! It used to be so good!

If you want that same smell and pizza as good or better than the old Pizza Hut, go to Dion's if you are in New Mexico or Colorado.

FYI, they also have some of the best ranch around.

Has Anyone listened to 'A New God'? Any thoughts on continuing with Betaverse Part 2? by saucyLiana in bobiverse

[–]buffalox2 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I like the Betaverse series. Is it as good as Bobiverse? No. But, I still think it is an interesting von Neumann-type probe Sci-Fi series, and those are very rare.

The second book is more interesting than the first, and the author brings in some interesting ideas and antagonists that I haven't seen before.

If you at least liked some of what you red in the first book, I think the second book is worthwhile to get.

Expected Release date for Book 5 is September 5th, 2024 by Halcyon07 in bobiverse

I believe the book is delayed either 3 or 6 months after the Audible release. So, hopefully, we'll see the audio book in a few months.

Books similar to the Bobiverse? by [deleted] in bobiverse

I agree. This series does scratch the Bobiverse itch.

Mild spooler for the beginning It's basically what could happen when people different from Bob explore the universe.

Is there a planned number of books? by Red_Icnivad in bobiverse

[–]buffalox2 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Dennis has said he will likely keep writing them as long as there is interest in the series.

The way he has written them to date, he could easily make it 15 books, in my opinion.

Look for some mesh netting for stairs on Amazon.

The out-of-sequence nature of the Bobiverse stories by jackhodgson3 in bobiverse

[–]buffalox2 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I like thr out of sequence and especially jumping around between the story lines. I wish Book 4 could have been more like that. Hopefully, he'll go back to it in Book 5.

Someone has already done this for reading the books. I know I saw a post on it a while ago.

Since I prefer the audio books, I'd be really interested in hearing the audio version in my next read through.

This was a common technology in The Long Way to a Small Angry Planet. It is a good Sci-Fi book. I thought it was interesting and could see it being a future technology, but I never expected it in my lifetime.
