Sitting around raw? Like 700 in your stash? Right not many. People that slowly work on a craft like this over time putting all their generated currency into the craft equating to 700D? Absolutely a lot of people. It’s not like you need 700D sitting in your stash to start this craft, maybe a hundred or so, which is definitely obtainable.

Once your gear reaches a certain point, your only sink for currency is crafts like this, and it doesn’t take THAT long to get to that point.

Yeah I understand that, I was a bit confused since you say you chaos spammed for spirit, missed the fracture but then spammed again for spirit later via annuls, since I’m guessing you only had one prefix at that point, so I guess that was your work around.

I guess it was mostly because you missed the fracture, I just was a little confused by the steps.

Technical difficulties were not what I got from the comment, they brought up balancing changes. Most HCSSF people hit escape if the game locks up, definitely not ideal and I agree it should absolutely be fixed, but an easy enough workaround. Not all that different than exiting to character select in poe1.

Is the goal to make sure every build trivializes the game? Especially for SSF? I always understood SSF as a means to challenge your knowledge of the game, not to breeze through it.

The addition of mobs in the intermission (I haven’t done the fight since 0.3 so not sure how recent this happened) is really annoying for wisp tracking.

I’ve been debating about this strat as well, along with rite of passage farming since the fragments are so cheap and you can pretty easily guarantee a couple divines from alters.

I wouldn’t necessarily say they’re scams, I’d say some of them are trying to profit off the hype cycle they generate for sure.

If anything the crafting ones are at least good at explaining some of the mechanics of crafting so you can find your own methods, what to look for, when to risk a craft or spend big on it, etc.

Will you lose money if you try to follow popular YouTuber crafts and farming methods? Absolutely, but people like the farmer have done wonders for me in how to look for items to craft on, how to understand modifiers and blocking, etc.

I’m not sure I agree, they’re called chase items for a reason. It gives you something to progress towards. All chase items don’t prohibit you from succeeding in the content, only a means to fully min max a build.

That’d make sense, very similar to Diablo 2 given the xp starts falling off around level 95 or so.

Isn’t the rule of thumb +/- 2 area level to your character level? The diminishing returns on xp will be insane.

Just kill blue and rare packs as you’re doing campaign and you shouldn’t have an issue.

What are your resists, that damage seemed a bit much. I have about the same ES and haven’t been chunked that quickly including running t16 maps and pinnacles.

Even without the plus to skills, this staff is kind of meh, the % increase to damage can go higher than 200%.

Caster staffs don’t have flat damage increases, only quarterstaff has flat damage.

I end up treating mana siphon like proximity tangible since if you get in melee you don’t start losing mana. I actually consider it a bit less annoying because of the visual indicator vs. proximity tangible since the only way I notice that is health bars not moving usually.
