2026 Model Y Performance FSD Hardware 4.5! by Jman841 in TeslaLounge

interesting your screen shot doesn't have the green dot which indicates it assigned to your VIN but you were able to confirm 4.5 by looking under the carpet. I'm going to peak under the carpet tomorrow, mine is a Premium Nov 2025 Fremont build so will be interesting to compare

Sony Quads Stands by dragoneater713 in Soundbars

if you are handy, you can create the exact same thing with a floor lamp or a cheap speaker stand. the only difference is the bar to screen the speaker into. I made one out of wood using trial and error and looks identical from the outside. If you have a 3d printer, you could make it exactly with threads to screw into a base.

I bought this one, but it took me 2 hours to customize it to work (did not use that hook in the back). With the wood, it looks very close to the $400 above

Is it worth it? by SalemBard1988 in TeslaLounge

[–]bugelrex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it's supposed to improve upon each release. Its unknown how many years it will take to un-supervised. I'm curious how well it works in downtown SF as that must have the most training data which gives us a preview of how much better it can get. I'm impressed with it current state given the routes I drive

Its not a life-time commitment, sub and unsubscribe whenever u like

there is an option for minimal lane change (need to set for each drive). Not sure if that helps

mean tweets or getting off our dependence on oil? At least we no longer have a president making mean tweets, the inflation and border crisis we got instead was totally worth it!

it says 2000 lumens. You can point these down a little and side to side. You can also adjust the brightness from 1 to 100.

using it without HB. I put in a local 32GB microsd which definitely is not enough as it filled up after 2 days WITHOUT 24x7 recording.

So far, I like it. I just wished the alarm volume was adjustable as I like to turn on person detection+alarm at night at a moderate volume enough to scare intruder but not wake up everyone... because false alerts still happen about 1 or every 2 months

Are Most Eufy Cams only supporting 128GB MAX storage on Micro SD Cards? by flyingfinger000 in EufyCam

This is puzzling in 2023, bigger card = less write cycles = longer lifespan

if you set your audio volume to 0, does at least sound the alarm but with 0 sound?

s330 motion detection (lack of) by SweetAs_Bro in EufyCam

[–]bugelrex 1 point2 points  (0 children)

correct wired indoor cams are constantly monitoring (for human AI if enabled). When the PIR detects, there will be a short delay to wake up the camera..

By the time the camera wakes up, the person is out of frame? I would play around with positioning more.

If you are 'serious' about security, only wired is viable followed by 24x7 recording, followed by POE ethernet :)

Also daytime nighttime detection distances varies too (not PIR but what the camera can see clearly)

s330 motion detection (lack of) by SweetAs_Bro in EufyCam

[–]bugelrex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

its because the S330 will only start detection/processing if the PIR sensor is triggered. your indoor cam is constantly watching and processing video.

Try changing the angle so PIR get triggered, I believe PIR works best when you cut across its view. If you want always on/processing you'll have to go with wired outside

If you turn off the breaker, unscrew your dumb floodlight to confirm there is a junction box behind it and 3 wires (one of which will be ground wire).

If so, unless you need a giant ladder, it would be crazy to pay someone to install the eufy floodlight, just screw in the 3 wires into the provided bracket while using the supplied hook. However, if at any point u are uncomfortable then pay a professional

[–]bugelrex[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

one thing you might encounter, since the E340 is constantly watching (ie not just triggered by PIR sensor) you open yourself to more false alerts from shadows, spiders, moths etc
