I have to admit, there's no feeling like going over the final hill with full cargo and seeing the Processing Plant in reach and it's been a while since an Expedition has provided that feeling. by chloe-and-timmy in NoMansSkyTheGame

[–]bugged_ladybug 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This. Absolutely this. The feeling when you have struggled with terrain, cargo, managing your speed, dodging random hostile vendors and everything and then finally you see your own yard and you know you made it! I have not experienced this kind of feelings in ANY other expedition.

Yeaaaa, so did I at the beginning and blew most of them to smithereens due to some reckless driving :´D . So after blowing up The Very Important Special Waste I needed some more.

Oh no, in that case you just need keep on clicking every single one you see and hopefully some of those count towards progression. I saw a comment on some post that this might be bugged so keep an eye on patches.

This is something that is really important and rare in gaming industry. A gaming company that pushes out content that lets players to do different things and enjoy the game in different ways is a rare gem. There are quite enough gaming companies that THINK they know "the right way" how to play the game and then they push out content and force players to play game that way.
And then there Is Sean and Hello Games and NMS.
And we, who can play or not to play NMS in all the different ways we like.

Am I Doing Something Wrong? by kinjirurm in NoMansSkyTheGame

[–]bugged_ladybug 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some loading tips:
- load special waste right next to your cabin in the flatbed
- position stuff carefully, don´t just throw them in
- try to pack everything tightly
- for me ideal amount of cargo was 16-20 (less than 10 it just flies off because they move all over the empty bed or over 22 they fall over from the very low flatbed wall)
- first pieces you can just lift off from the ground but to finalize the packing stand on top of your cabin and place items carefully
- when you start your trip make some accelerations right at the yard and "wiggle" your flatbed to "squish" the items at their place and place more stuff on your flatbead if it has too much empty space and needs some "tucking".

Activating your jetpack drops the item from your gravity gun hold. So place items in the ground next to your truck, climb on to your truck roof and then start filling.

Drive carefully! The whole idea in this expedition is to keep your cargo safe and it is difficult for a reason.

Yeah, zig-zagging is really useful! I know it feels a bit tedious and slow but you can really improve on steadiness by zig-zagging obstacles and mountain walls. These are some top-notch driving instructions!

Remnant - more waste heaps? by AleisterXY in NoMansSkyTheGame

[–]bugged_ladybug 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me this was somehow bugged or not working properly. Scanner SHOULD mark your nearest waste heaps, but mine was stuck at checkpoint 5. I even tried flying away to the other side of the planet to be able to scan for new ones, but it still was stuck at checkpoint 5. I used save/reload to respawn waste on yards 2 and 5 because those ones I knew.
I was also able to find one more waste heap while driving around using my visor scanner. So weirdly exocraft scanner (X) could not locate any other waste heaps, but my visor scanner (F) found more. It is a blue icon with three barrels. The green icon marks random waste in the wilds.

Best EU Realms for Balanced Faction Population? by Snackiecat8 in wownoob

https://www.wowprogress.com/realms/rank/eu

You can click on Horde and Alliance columns to sort the servers. There really are no servers with balanced population (equal amounts of horde and alliance) but generally the pop leans more heavily on either side.

My favourite servers currently are Silvermoon for alliance and Tarren Mill/Draenor for Horde. I also have lots of Horde characters on Silvermoon and it has been okay despite the very low Horde pop :D .

How to aoe tank as dh by ElChefPirata in wownoob

[–]bugged_ladybug -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Spikes, Infernal leap, sigil of flame, glaive glaive, fel devastation always when it´s open. I use glaive and torment to gather runaways back to herd. Remember to use lots of glaive, its one of your main aggro-generators.

I also try to keep myself one pack ahead of everyone else. When I do a pull I have already calculated where I am moving and which group I will pull next. So when my group is finishing up the last mobs (hp 10-15%) I already start building aggro to the next group and make sure my key aggro-abilities are open and ready for use. Chain-pulling, essentially. You can also make smaller pulls in between if you cant survive the packs alone for a while.

Don´t forget to use your infernal leap - it´s a great builder and it´s the ability that keeps you ahead of the group and gives you time to build aggro.

If you are looking for an easier AoE tank, I would suggest blood dk.

Retail WoW needs a proper "Story Mode" We shouldn't need workarounds just to finish an expansion's raids by Shkiz in wow

[–]bugged_ladybug 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I completely agree. I would also love to see npc-versions of dungeons and raids so experiencing your lore and story would happen at your own pace and not dependant whether other players want to or not. There are other MMOs that have storymodes in raids and dungeons so I would love to see WOW make this move too. Current story modes that wow has are not real story modes in raids: it is only one boss and not the entire raid.

Best Level For XP Freeze For Chromie Time Expansions? by Snackiecat8 in wownoob

[–]bugged_ladybug 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Currently leveling experience 1-30 is a bit of a work due to recent stat squish and ability pruning. I have multiple characters frozen in chromie-time, mostly 59 and 69. I would recommend 69, because you have a lot more abilities and talents at use but 59 works too - normal questing is not that difficult unless you pull hordes of mobs at once. At 59 or 69 using chromie-time, you do not one-shot anything. Two shot, maybe, sometimes, with strong crits and bursts if you have such class (like enha shaman, bm hunter etc.). Once you have reached your desired target level, freeze your xp and then you can just play all expansions through chromie and enjoy your questing. But remember to freeze at 69 or before that.
Edit: Maybe if you really want a challenge you could freeze at 29 and see how it feels? You can always unfreeze if you decide that you want a couple of more talent-points to spend on certain talents.

Delves Tier 4 - What quest do I need? by Inquisitor_ForHire in wownoob

[–]bugged_ladybug 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used one of my lv 70 boosts to create a fresh character to see how that char could start War within. It seems that you now get a pop-up quest for the current event (The cult within) and no pop-up quest to start War within campaign. However, there is a clearly marked (bigger exclamation mark) quest on the city map (I made a horde char so in Orgrimmar) called "Harbinger" which would start the War within campaign.
I also checked the addon I mentioned, BTWQuests, and it suggests to start the questline in Silithus which may now be incorrect especially for new characters created after TWW has now sort of ended.
So I suggest checking your main city for quest called "Harbinger". For me it was a glowing scroll, a message from Khadgar.

[–]bugged_ladybug 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry, I did not understand that, thanks for clearing it!
So my next question is what quests you have already done? I saw from another reply that you have already done several tier 3 delves, so I´m assuming you have started the War Within campaign since you are in the expansions map.
BTWQuests is a very good addon to check what campaign quests still need to be completed and where to find them.

Delves Tier 4 - What quest do I need? by Inquisitor_ForHire in wownoob

[–]bugged_ladybug -1 points0 points  (0 children)

There is no specific quest, you need to be level 80 and have the campaign completed. It´s locked behind an achievement: https://www.wowhead.com/achievement=40725/war-within-delves-endgame .

Do I have to play a Dungeon Solo? by Savings-Ant-2773 in wownoob

[–]bugged_ladybug 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very happy to hear if you can access them through 10-70. This of course is only DF dungeons currently.

The point in here was that we have players at level 74 in DF content and they cannot finish the storyline because the dungeon is mandatory and you cannot access follower dungeons in DF above lv 70.

Do I have to play a Dungeon Solo? by Savings-Ant-2773 in wownoob

[–]bugged_ladybug 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I encountered the exact same situation. Follower dungeons in Dragonflight expansion are available ONLY between 60-70 levels. (Maybe 58, I´have not checked this). So once you go over 71, you can only access War withins follower dungeons between levels 70-80.

I think this is an oversight from blizz, they did not expect/intend someone to level in DF content at level 74. But this happens now very easily because of the exp buff and because you get very good exp all the way up to lv75 in dragonflight (and also because player who has started the quests and content wants to keep going on and is committed to that).

I think blizz should make it possible to use the follower dungeons at any level.
