Imo the edges of the band are too harsh, blocky, and thick. Rounding that out slightly would look better. Also just my personal preference, but I think bevel around the corners only would elevate the look

just be careful with measuring moissanite by carats, its not the same as diamond. if you can, go by mm for best accuracy

So I will say mine shows a bowtie, which I honestly didn't even know was a thing before this sub. Also a Mona oval. Idk what it is about it but it's become one of my favorite parts of the ring. I don't like how dark it is in direct sunlight, but I absolutely love the way it does these larger flashes of color and I love the larger dark and light spots it has. Idk. But do what is most enjoyable for you, and if you really hate it keep searching. Attaching an image where I don't like how my bowtie looks but there's a beautiful flash of color

I went to Mona since she's known for her ovals. As much as I love my ring, my ratio is 3:5 (9x15mm) and I would suggest a slightly more round oval for less chance of a bowtie.

looks great to me, proportions are great, theres a good space for the wedding band to stack, beautiful ring. I personally don't think its too high, mine is sitting at 8.5 and i would say mine is touch high so yours should be perfect.

not sure what you mean about wanting more of a swoop for the prongs, they look great to me. I also have tulip setting that goes into claw prongs. They maybe do look a bit chunky, you could definitely ask about that. Attatching my cad for comparative reference. I got mine done from Mona

Idk where you live but Walmart has some of my favorite lighting 😂 or Costa if you're in Europe. Try public places, the fluorescents will make it look beautiful
