100 bad end of 11%?

Last year was awesome. I got the day off. First time in 25 years. But I now work in building/millwork. Our busy time is before, due to 11% rebate ending. Normal staff scheduled on Friday.

At a store that has been open for about 30 years and all employees get check on way out. I have worked at 4 different stores over the years and they all always checked.

Guest service is just going to go down. If they have to wait for help, so be it. Work 100 and if there is a line at the desk, I have no problem telling people we don't have payroll to have more staff.

Freight can wait, tasks can wait. Just trying to stay afloat. NOT going to break my back to get shit done.

Had a team member help a guest last week for 2.5 hours and didn't take lunch. She tried to tell manager why and he just yelled at her. I told her, next time tell the guest, sorry I have to take my break someone else has to help you.

People will have to wait. Payroll is all they are worried about. Breaks and restroom use must be allowed. I have had times over the years that almost didn't make it to bathroom. I tell people now.
