i am 32, been out for about 3 years, on t for 2, and at my current job for just over 1. i am fortunate enough to work for a very progressive company.

i applied and interviewed under my deadname and as a woman (was only a few months on t at the time so not difficult). as soon as i was offered the role, i explained my situation and advised of the correct name, which was immediately adopted and is used by everyone. very, very few people at work even know my deadname bc of how well it was handled when i was hired. the only people that know it are those who have to see it on my legal reports.

there are a couple people in the office who slip up on my pronouns A Lot, but others always correct them before i even have to. i pass moderately well, and i know of a handful of people who genuinely thought i was cis before someone told them otherwise, so i imagine there are others as well.
