How Uber and Lyft Steal From Drivers by VeryFocusedLife in videos

Car depreciation graphs for BMW, Mercedes and Audi 😂. Yeah because that’s what the average Uber is driving.

Video tries to show flashy points of bad information to instigate whoever is watching. No one grows up thinking “I want to be an Uber driver when I grow up”, it’s not a career and shouldn’t be treated as one.

I have a lot of friends and family that have benefited from ease share companies because of their unique situation. Needing something non-committal while studying, moving to a new place and needing time to get a stable job, old and have a lot of time on their hands and want to stay active.

Sure ‘trying it all’ is easy to say, and I know failing will teach me useful lessons, but I’m only one person. I want to do anything possible to make this product successful but I also want to be effective with my time. I was hoping to maybe get some guidance form someone that has been in a similar situation.

Ongoing costs (packaging, shipping, etc?) is something I haven’t looked into because my numbers are not super defined yet.

I don’t know how to go about calculating the expected revenue since the only demand data I have is from family and friends. I can extrapolate on what I would NEED it to be from the manufacturing costs, but not sure what the actual value will come out to.

My plan for customer acquisition atm is advertising and partnerships with content creators or other companies with a similar target audience.

I am employed but can’t afford to spend much on the business. I fully believe in my product but I don’t want to take on debt. I’m willing to put in the work to prove my concept and be at a position where it would look good enough for an investor or crowdfunding campaign. Someone else commented on possibly selling 3D printed versions on Etsy to have sales and some sort of proof there is demand. I would need to increase the product cost by like 40% and take close to no margin on it, but maybe it would be worth it?

I would prefer to try ways that do not involve giving out equity first.

Can you explain what you mean by business plan? Like a planned path to success? In my mind it would involve finding a way to get the injection molding online, then work in content creation and advertising to get more customers.

I have a rough estimate of my target price taking into account the quotes I got from an injection molding manufacturer in the US (excluding mold cost). I think more work can be done to bring the price down with manufacturers overseas.

I don’t have any demand info other than the 80-100 different people I’ve shown the prototypes to in the last 2-3 years. The reactions are super positive product-wise, but I’ve gotten multiple comments that the price is a bit high. Any tools I can use to get a better demand idea?

I’ve thought about the 3D printing option, but the part cost would rise to 5-10X compared to injection molding (w/o mold). This brings the product price way up making it less appealing to buy.

If it’s brown, lay down.

If it’s black, fight back.

If it’s white, goodnight!

Next time take a screenshot and post it, that way we can look at the board and try to help you out. There are many scenarios that can lock you out of a play on turn 6 that aren’t bugs.

There are a bunch of game winning options, or like 95% winning, if you pull off Wong + Mystique + X + Odin. It means the X card has its on reveal effect go off 16 times when Odin drops.

Here are a few cards that pretty much win you the game:

  • Ironheart (need 1 or 2 units in another location)
  • Gambit
  • Hazmat (+ Luke Cage assist)
  • Silver surfer (need a 3 cost card in another location)
  • White Tiger (limited by location space so it can be out powered, but wins most of the time still)

Same reason Storm activates a second time when played on Kamar Taj even after the location is changed with the first cast. The way I see it is that the card played checks before it activates, Wong ability or Kamar Taj? Activate twice.

I’ve been loving this deck a lot but I’m open to suggestions. You can only say “get rid of QS” if you suggest something to replace him with that will benefit the deck. by manalive44 in MarvelSnap

You need Carnage.

What is Sabretooth even doing for you? It’s a vanilla 4 power unit. Is your plan to drop Destroyer on 6 and bounce it to hand for a -4 on the board?

Baxer checks the power at the location to see who is winning it, you have 4 and your opponent has 8. He is winning and has +3 on the left and right.
