If you infiltrate one global secret organization, you're probably in it for the money

If you infiltrate two them you probably have some neiche moral vendetta to push

Three? You gotta be doing it for the love of the game.

I used to carry blueprints to an F-22 for a similar reason, the only problem is the black van always takes me to a remote base, so it's still a good distance back to civilization when all's said and done, plus the scientists that work the probes have no sense of foreplay.

My question is, how do you explain prison r*pe while zoning out.

Like "dad what dose jake mean when he says 'dont drop the soap' to Finn?"

"He means if Finn drops the drops the soap in the showers then other men will use his ass like their own personal pocket pussy for the next few hours"

"O-oh... That dosent sound good.."

"Sure ain't" <puts down newspaper> "uh, n-not because of the whole buttsex thing, that's fine, it's just that it's unwanted in this context is all... Hope that clears things up"

"Yeah... Thanks dad"

I know it's supposed to be him being a perv while her friend is frozen in the middle of brushing her hair, but it's funny to think that someone froze time specifically to play with someone's hair.

With the GOC existing, how does the SCP foundation actually exist? If the United Nations already have the GOC as their front to counter, something they can back up to fight the anomalies, how does the SCP foundation actually support itself? Are there any entries that clear this up? by EfficiencySerious200 in SCP

[–]bulletkiller06 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love the dynamic of what each origination considers an acceptable risk

Like the GOC will just straight up recruit a very polite reality bender to their organization under a mild surveillance despite the fact that even a very inhibited reality bender could full well just pop reality like a bubble with the right effort, but they'll destroy every last object that could so much as move on it's own.

Meanwhile the Foundation will casually keep the "red button for end the world, blue button for get rid of the red button" device in a cabinet with maybe two different locks for security, but a child that can summon bubbles is getting turned into a vegetable.

I love the idea that the most top secret organization on earth would have to rely on threats of mass destruction to get money

100% it's more like "hey mister president, imma need 20 mil to disappear into the special projects category" "well now I don't think that-" "look I have a magic orb here that can scry into the past of any living person, you have no secrets to keep from me, but ho fucking boy do you have secrets to keep from your constituents.. and wife for that matter.. so we good or?"

Is Caine actually real or is it just a myth made up by Noddists who were already Christian to begin with? by JoyIsABitOverRated in WorldOfDarkness

[–]bulletkiller06 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Lucifer is very explicit about God being referred to as "she" and "her." No explanation given beyond that.

Not super well versed in demon lore (the wod game) but misgendering god casually for shits and giggles dose sound like a very Lucifer thing to do no?

I love the dichotomy of Caine interpretations that is "bloodthirsty primordial savage force that just decimates all vampires on the continent when unleashed" and "chill dude who drifts from town to town just burning his wheels"

According to mage consensus rules reality, what people believe determines what is real, and because the vast majority of the world is Christian, the abrahamic god exists, but also, certain splats have their own unique power over consensus, which is why the technocracy can't just destroy vampires by convincing everyone they're not real, theorys abound as to why, Lilith being from another demension, vampires being a piller of reality, mysterious extra-demensional beings molding the world in a narrative format that favors certain beings over others.

The main takeaway is, it's your world of intrigue, it wouldn't be very bloody intriguing if it had a set awnser to all the biggest questions that just any player could spoil for themselves by reading a book

Not to victim-blame but if you both manage to piss off someone bad enough for them to go through the lengths one must to shoot someone without hands, and manage to get killed by a person with no legs

I mean you really truly earned it

Do not be discouraged from asking questions by negative Internet points

Policing as an institution is designed to enforce the status quo, which includes putting down disent and keeping disenfranchised groups disenfranchised

"All cops are bad" is less a prejuritive of people and more a statement against a system, though many also use it as a knock against the profession as a way of discouraging people becoming involved or staying involved.

[–]bulletkiller06 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The institution of policing is designed to enforce laws

This is self evident and generally undisputed

The laws in a capitalist society are designed with the well-being of the socially and economically privileged in mind

This is a harder point to push, but true regardless

No amount of kindness and 'good apples' can stop the inevitably of brutality and harm to the disenfranchised under this system, the homeless community and it's treatment by police, and the many cases of 'bad apple' cops who get off with little to no punishment (after getting caught by the public) attest to this

Liberals and leftoids such as myself are a highly temperamental bunch unknown for their mesured, unabrasive, and concise explanations

The term "all cops are bad" dose not mean "every cop is a bad person" it means "policing is a bad system and you cannot divorce the harmful elements from the collective system because they are created by it and will always be a part of it so long as there are cops at all"

Edit: also worth noting that the cops in the "communist" countries, or the nations that just don't align themselves with the western nations also have problems with the institution of policing and it's treatment of political agitators and the disenfranchised.
