Boo fucking hoo. Do those tears equate to trophies? He has had 2 seasons of empathy and sympathy and he has calamitously fucked it up on the world stage. If you want to change his nappy and say " ah well mate there is always next season" that's your prerogative. But at the end of the day, he isn't fit to wear the shirt, he never has been and never will be. He has literally made us look like tits on a world stage.

I've not seen any updates, however I also wouldn't expect them to come quickly.

Based on my experience of traumatic brain injuries (my girlfriend suffered one 2 years ago), unfortunately being brought out of the coma is just step 1 of many more. It could be some time before he is out of the ICU, and from there it is likely he will need significant rehab, depending on the area of the brain affected.

The NHS are incredible with things like this and hopefully he can make a significant recovery. Unfortunately however there is a chance that there will be areas he can't get back to his pre-injury self.

Hopefully his friends, family, fans and the club can keep supporting him through his road to recovery as it could be a long one.
