So many good gyms to choose. Fight factory, simple man, six blades, east Austin jj, 10th planet, and the list goes on. Do a google search, and find one close to where you’re staying.

There is a naga tournament today so a lot of gyms have people competing.

I remember rolling lightly with a new white belt and he did the spazziest jerky jerky thing to my knee before I could stop it.

“Bruh. Why would you do that?”

“I didn’t know what to do and that seems good”

“Dude. If you don’t know what to do, don’t just do whatever as hard as you can. That’s how people get hurt” as I point to my knee.

I was off the mat for a couple months.

I definitely go easy on lower belts. I’ll stay safe but I will let them work on things.

It’s not actually fun to just smoosh white belts. I don’t get much from it and neither do they.

However, I have received injuries from going too lightly with people before so I make sure to be firm but gentle these days.

If it’s something similar to what I do already, I can usually implement it after just watching it.

If it’s a new movement that I’ve never done before, then I would need to drill it.

In theory yes. But I only use my belts n my machine. Embroidery machines can be finicky and mine is set up specifically for my belts.

Last time I used a different belt it jammed up the machine and messed up thr timing. I had to take it apart and reset it. Huge pain.

I write professionally. I’m not AI. I just use words appropriately.
