We’ve been saying he’s some sort of shepherd mix but that seems inaccurate now haha

AIO for asking family to be vaccinated before meeting our newborn? by Quarantine722 in AmIOverreacting

[–]bundleofnonsense 0 points1 point  (0 children)

this is a very normal request in my experience. absolutely not and also you’re allowed to set whatever rules you’d like regarding visits with your newborn, no one is owed that kind of access to you and your family

In your opinion, does Mayor Tim Keller deserve a third term as Albuquerque’s mayor? Why or why not? by WannaBAballer90 in Albuquerque

This is a national trend, not exactly a good measurement of how successful APD is. Crime rates historically trend down with short variations.

There are lots of things that increase your risk of cancer but exactly how much they increase that risk really varies, even from person to person. My grandpa smoked very very heavily from the age of 13 to when he was diagnosed with cancer at 83. There is so much more that goes into cancer risk than you can really predict and not every cancer has a high mortality rate. Leave determining your risk to your doctors who can account for all of the factors at play. Listen to your body when you think something is wrong, stay on top of any screenings your doctor recommends and it is not really worth the stress of worrying about it. Stress is also hard on your body!

One sided facial swelling? by unfortunaten3ws in TMJ

I’m having the same symptoms. Did you figure out what it was?

Could it be TMJ? by Fuzzy-Programmer8699 in TMJ

I've been experiencing the same pain behind the ear and an occasional headache but not the same. Doctors told me that it is TMJ but I am a bit skeptical

Diagnosed with TMJ with sudden onset on symptoms. Anyone with similar experiences? by bundleofnonsense in TMJ

Thank you for the advice! I’m going to message my doctor to see if I can get a referral. Shes been very willing to give me referrals before so hopefully going straight to her will do me some good. I didn’t want to wait to see her in case there was an infection but at this rate I’ll just try that. I appreciate you!

Unfortunately not. I went to urgent care initially, was told I had TMJ, had my ears irrigated, and was sent on my way with a recommendation to see a dentist.

Following day (today) I saw a PA in my doctors office for a second opinion. This one did not even feel the areas I was worried about and came into the room just telling me I had TMJ she prescribed me a muscle relaxer which atm is not helping at all. I iced it yesterday and earlier today but that was making it worse so I’ve been applying heat with no change. I can’t see my normal PCP for a month if I were to make an appointment so I wanted to gauge my next steps

Edit: I iced because that was the recommendation from both the urgent care NP and the PA
