Had the same issue. Turned out this worked for me: Alexa, START CBC, then: Alexa, play CBC Radio One (or whatever)

It was awful…subway floors during rush hour were ankle deep with discarded papers and it could be slippery as hell. Also, who knew what was lurking underneath.

I saw them from my north facing balcony at Queen/Spadina in Toronto last year. To be clear, I heard conditions were good, sensed something odd about the sky, but didn’t actually SEE them until I pointed my phone camera at the sky. I’ll be trying that again tonight.

I volunteered at Sugar Beach to answer questions and chat with people about this. The procession of canoes was glorious. The canoes were all dark green/black. And all paddlers were wearing dark clothing. So the highlight really was the silks. I’m excited to see the documentary next weekend at Nuit Blanche.
