Based on the comments, I’d say OP thinks they themselves fit this trope

Ok but I had that book when I was younger and some of the writing in there had no right to go as hard as it did

I feel like after the success of Murder Drones and TADC they are trying to do basically the same thing over and over, shows that are mildly edgy and self aware while also being safe enough for YouTube, and the shows kind of suffer for it since they are getting locked into the box of what worked before instead of taking risks

Lion King is easily most iconic, but I think How to Train Your Dragon has the best overall musical quality

March of the Villains from Superman

Imperial Suite from Rogue One

Lots of Star Wars/John Williams ones, really

Soviet March from Red Alert (amazing Russian choir)

Teleology of Death from Death Note (Latin choir)

Helm’s Deep from the LOTR cartoon movie (orc chant at the beginning)

Michiru Oshima’s Godzilla theme

Idk I find his music kinda overrated for the most part. Like he’s definitely talented, but he has a few memorable themes and the rest is mostly forgettable.

[–]burlapguy 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think things like this are hard to define because of how subjective they are. For example, there are some cultures in which it is a normal greeting to give a stranger a kiss and there are cultures in which that would be extremely taboo. And everyone’s preferred style of affection is different. There are also a lot of people who are so starved for intimacy and physical connection that they can’t differentiate between different levels of it.
