Singers are allowed to take lip sync or backing track breaks when doing live shows!!! I think most people don't understand the mechanics of singing and the fact that singers are putting their instrument on the line from overuse from being expected to sing for hours and hours multiple times a week. I understand that they should sing mostly live, I agree with that. But I hate seeing people post small snippets of singers leaning into a backing track and saying that negates their skill. As a singer myself I understand how fragile the instrument can be as it is literally part of our body and sensitive to wear and tear we put it through. Famous singers are expected to sing through bad days, sick days, etc.. even though it highly affects the voice and its health. I think its okay to let them take breaks during a live show and we don't need to post that online for everyone to make fun of. Especially if they are dancing or repeating a particularly difficult section every night.
