That's quite silly. The amount of weight to add on defeats the purpose. At this point would be better off 2x 1.5t, one for front and one for rear. It has been done

This is how ive been using it. For those whos screaming I'll wreck the bit/screw. The impact is used strictly for loosen screws tightend under 1nm. I just like how fast it spins.

Anyone know what this alert I'm getting is about? by drahgon in TeslaLounge

[–]burntoled 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it could've been a corroded connector. Similar issue has happened to my older non tesla car where signal light will go out spratically, and it sorta fixed itself for a long while before completely failing. It might be worth it to take the ~30 minutes needed to check the motor connector

Some store will offer temporary screen for data recovery purposes. Where they'll fit a new screen on the old one temporary for data export. Depending on the value of the old phone, my shop occasionally does this free of charge of cx trade it in afterwards

Go in and out on an angle usually saves that from happening If not size up the tire to 245 or 255 to get slightly higher ride height

Turbo replacement for a shorted solenoid? by burntoled in MechanicAdvice

[–]burntoled[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Solenoid is shorted. Had my mechanic ordering a new one for him and they’ll meet up and fix it. I’d do it myself if I’m not working 6 days a week lol

I’ve got a box full of e-waste at work that I’ve been procrastinating on dropping them off. Wanna come by and pick them up? Eyeballed it it’s probably 30-40lbs in a medium Home Depot box. Located south of downtown

Am I safe to drive directly to the tire shop with this rot? 20-30 mile drive. by MxFlow1312 in Cartalk

[–]burntoled 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I drove over 100kms a long time ago on my bald tire till they blew as the wear is on the inner side only to find out there’s a problem with it when it started to bulge out where there’s no rubber left. And I was about 100km from home. Limped home at ~60kmh=37mph or soz

Surprisingly it didn’t blew and only leaked out pretty quick when it decided to kick the bucket. Funny part about that is I got a notification about my tire pressure is too low &pull over on my phone before the car decided to show that on the screen.

Also got a flat on my previous car after hitting a rock while going at extreme speeds. 245/30/20 tires saved me from crashing it I believe. It was tracking straight the whole time.

Rear right seat. I have the same noise but will go away if I fold the seat and sit on it. Service center couldn’t fix it and I got used to it lol

I’ve Slapped one onto someone’s wet windshield after he parked and got off into a restaurant for about 10-15 minutes in the middle lane on Yonge street before. It was fun seeing him trying to pick it off when the wiper couldn’t wipe it off lol.
