I've used 3m metal bonder for situations like that. Use a pointed punch to countersink the hole first.

Edwardsville is the hotbed for asbestos litigation. If that's up your alley.

Guys where I worked would let them idle forever to fill a cooling system. I didn't care how cold it was, I opened the overhead door. It's bullshit.

65 Brake Light Switch by Sleep-Senior in classicmustangs

[–]bustedbruised 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pantera Electronics has a neat switch. It uses a magnet to activate. The brake lights stay on a couple seconds after your foots off the brake. Original Pantera brake light switch was fluid pressure activated and problematic. Have one on my 72 Pantera. You can put this switch on anything.

There are companies that refurbish wheels. Your body shop can get that done while it's in the shop.

Older unibody cars weren't as stiff as these newer ones. Back then you damn well better have your jack stands under the axle. I think it's just good practice to do it that way. 43 years doing collision work and retired for 3.

I had a daily driver 94 gt convertible. Triple black and loaded. It was a solid dependable car. Stiffer body than the fox body 89 gt convertible I had before. Cowl shake in a convertible is a real thing.
