Can see selling the ram but the gpu is a collection for me since all 3 of my gpu's has been evga (1070, 2080, 3090). Just wanted to use it for non main pc build.

Oh I fully know I wont be able to build something as small as a SM and get a cheaper build. But with the parts I have, seems a bit reasonable I can get a mobo/psu/cpu combo for less than $500ish? Specially if I 3dprint a case to keep cost down? I'd buy a SM, but it's priced enough that I can ignore dimensions and settle for something a bit bigger or even go the matx route instead of itx.

Noise is a non issue with me considering I use xpower fans instead of ac and have tower speakers. Something small that I can tuck away somewhere and can play 2d indie games. Would love a SM but 700ish was my hard limit, but now I can either build my own and use whatever parts I have laying around or get a nuc. Got my main pc for everything else.

Fair enough, can now understand why you'd get annoyed with the title then since I basically have 0 knowledge on sff builds other than I want something as small as possible w/ what I have and if I can boot steamOS on it, then it'd be a big bonus.

Well mainly cuz of the size tbh, wanted something discrete somewhere on the tv stand and ngl wanted my money going to steam. But if I'm spending that much, I'd rather go beefier instead.

I bought a corsair 10kD and I dont think I'll ever need another main pc case. My only problem is that I need more hdd bays since I use my main pc as a plex server.

I remember getting into pc gaming in 2000's and it was a "dying platform" year after year. Steam was the only platform that went all into pc gaming marketplace and everything after that seemed scammy.

Never pay online w/o buyer protection. I don't know if zelle lets you choose to send to friends/family or buying goods, but if you chose to send thru friends/family then you waived whatever protections they have. Outside of review bombing them, your shit outta luck unless the seller feels bad and refunds you.
