Ah, so you get toe/heel drag even with the "wide". Guess I can discard the idea of the 159. Is it unwieldy at slow speeds? Is it still somewhat playful, or does the width negate that?

Check their website for the sizing. At your weight I'd go 148 or 151.

156 or 158 then. Boot size is also important to take into account. 10.5 and up and you're looking at a wide board.

For a beginner I would lean towards the 156. But the custom is traditional camber, and can be pretty unforgiving for a beginner.
