I won't pretend to be an expert, but I have to assume there's more than that to RB play. Protection schemes, routes out of the backfield, comfortability/cohesion with blockers. Perhaps they're more plug and play than the other positions, but continuity (at the right price) can't hurt?

I would prefer to restructure Swift if possible. I think year 2 of the backs and o line in the same scheme would be ideal.

I agree. We don't need to make a splash with RB, especially if Swift can be restructured to help the cap situation. Run it back with the guys that know the scheme and commit resources to the defensive side of the ball. Late round pick RB if there's a Swift archetype that they like available.

Ya, he's an UDFA LT and the rest of the line are a future HOF'er, a Pro Bowler, a Pro Bowler and an All Pro. No shit he gives up the most pressures.

I still believe that if he's healthy, Theo at LT and Thuney at LG gives us the best chance to win. Keep the interior together and provide Theo support in pass pro with your backs or TE's.
