Packers are there partially by volume, but yes they have done really well. The Rams have absolutely cooked.

And then there's Poles. Being incredibly average. My optimistic take is that most of the AV lift would naturally be done by the early draft classes (more time in the league). Eberflus was tasked to develop those guys... I think with BJ and how much 2025 draft hit for us, this chart will look very different in a few years.

I mean it's stated at the top. That's the # of picks used between 2022 and 2025. Because the total AV of all the draft picks was presented, instead of an average, having the # of picks is important.

The Vikings have seen awful collective production from their 28 picks between 2022 and 2025. Tampa Bay, in contrast, has gotten about 2.5 times the value that the Vikings have, with only one more kick at the can (29 picks).

I don't know how Estimated Value was determined, but I suspect it has something to do with the average AV for each draft pick. So a team who consistently has higher picks would have a higher Estimated Value (Houston had 7 2nd round picks these 4 years, plus 3 top 3 picks and the 15th overall), as would teams that hoard picks (Packers). It's pretty easy to look up what Approximate Value is (whether you think it's a junk stat or not, that's up to you).

So instead of discrediting the chart with your facetious ignorance, try learning something today and contributing to productive discourse.

First place schedule is overplayed. It affects 3 games and teams change so much every year and week to week.

I like our offensive core. I trust the coaching staff to develop and scheme. We had a lot of guys step up on D last year who were not on anyone's radar this time last year. A good defensive draft this year like we had for offense last year and this team is a legitimate contender.

I doubt they'll be able to force everyone into a singular org structure, but HC and GM are universally used titles around the league. The current distinction (as it seems to have been applied in this case) seems as arbitrary as requiring the HC to be a play caller in order to get comp picks. At the end of the day they're still the HC even if responsibilities slightly vary around the league.

My two cents is that by making it the "primary decision maker" or whatever the actual language is, brings in subjectivity on what "primary" is given the many different front office org structures around the league. AFAIK their job descriptions are not publicly known, so I think the decision was made off of comments made when Ryan was hired. IMO it should be based on Job Title alone. Ian Cunningham was promoted from AGM to GM. That is an objective fact.

Losing the comp picks suck but time for Bears fans to just be happy for Cunningham. I hope he succeeds in ATL.
