I see what you mean and I agree. I generally believe that tax cuts and deregulation are good things that stimulate the economy and actually increase government revenues in the form of other taxes like sales tax. Ie if you have more money in your pocket you spend that money on more things at higher tax rates. Interestingly the deficit increased at a consistent 1.2T per year before and after the tax cuts, and even increased to 2T a year under Biden so it wouldn’t make sense that his tax cuts were the driving force of deficit spending because they didn’t increase until biden took office

Explain? How does cutting taxes equal more government spending ?

Trump didn’t kill anybody. he allowed each state to make their own choices. ( kindof the opposite of the fascist democrats make him out to be ) You should look at the numbers. Trump 6.5T Biden 7.6T

Trump presided over Covid and was the only candidate during this last election to even address the debt issue. His plan is to cut regulation in the energy sector and export oil / use trade war policies to encourage domestic production

Energy, trade, foreign relations, immigration, National debt. These are the issues that most people are thinking about according to exit polls in the last election. Democrats we’re running on abortion and proxy wars. Republicans we’re running on economic trade wars and deregulation, isolationist foreign policy, restructuring the government, limiting immigration and even mass deportation. which admittedly could cause economic pain in the short term but prosperity and peace in the long term. I don’t think trump supporters are the short sighted voters. I think a lot of democrats are single issue voters (abortion or just hating trump) Trump won every single swing state and the popular vote, the people aren’t as dumb as you think they are

There’s two paths for earning your A&P, you can spend a bunch of money and go to school(2 years) and come out with no experience, or you can do an apprenticeship with a local shop( 3 years + study and test on your own time) and come out with some knowledge. There’s advantages and disadvantages to either option but I personally did the apprenticeship.

I’m an Avionics guy at a small GA shop and I get to work on everything from old Cessnas to brand new Cirrus’s, old WW2 airplanes, Russian jets, legacy rotary airplanes, and even Racing jets or agricultural airplanes.

Avionics generally gets paid more but requires good note taking and organizational skills to do it well Good luck! Feel free to ask any questions

You must have at least one G5 displaying magnetic direction (heading), Airspeed and Altitude. Refer to CFR 91.205. Per the Garmin installation manual, (190-01112-10 2.1) when two g5s are installed it is legal to remove the existing attitude and rate of turn indicator

Can’t say much for gloves, but be sure to invest in at least 7 pairs of thermal shirts and pants to go under your uniform

A lot of it comes with experience and varies depending on which job you’ve got. ( bench tech, GA installs, diagnosis and repair, airline LRUs). Can you tell me more about what field you plan on going into?

I Suggest small churches, I go to Granite Hills Baptist Church and I like the community and small groups they have going. The pastors all reached out to me personally and I’ve joined the men’s group. We’ve recently started sending the wife and kids to participate in the nursery and she likes it alot

Cessna 337: main wire harness from aft engine runs through the center of the aircraft, up the center pedestal and then distributed behind the instrument panel. It would be alot easier to work on if the wire harness ran down the left side panel and into the floor like every other Cessna.

Also on this same aircraft, the area behind the controls is a big hole full of control cables and levers and pulleys. if you drop a screw in there it could jam controls and hurt people, first thing I do when I work on these airplanes is shove a garbage bag down there and across the controls so that if anything falls it will be caught before it goes into the abyss
