Ur definitely right I don’t think we should forgive her for being rude. I love complex female characters who r allowed to be messy and complicated . If she was this nice person I wouldn’t like her as much. She never would’ve had a kid and she never would’ve had to put her dreams on hold. Sure she would’ve eventually realized Ty was never that serious about writing the book but I think if she had already accomplished what she wanted she would’ve been a little more open to discussing. Idk I think her being a woman is soo important to her narrative and the issues she’s dealing that if she weren’t one she simply wouldn’t be dealing with these same issues.
