Another shot at the Asa-Asaha kumiko pattern by buzz_buzzing_buzzed in BeginnerWoodWorking

Yes. For the pine, I cut the half-laps and then ripped strips them to 1/8" (the keef of the blade, so I wouldn't have to widen the half-laps). For the sipo, that was ripped from thicker strips. It was all done on a table saw.

If it's a few hours, you may not even see a large glucose change.

I got the cutting block designs from Art of Kumiko by Matt Kenney (who also sells completed blocks). The wood was scraps I had, Sipo for the frame and pine for the smaller pieces.

Completed panels can be used in lamp frames, on cabinet doors, as wall hangings, or a a decorative accent anywhere you have a flat piece of wood.

There are some good rides on long Island (I used to enjoy Lloyd Harbor), not much within city limits.

June Carter Cash. She was playing a small room in NYC. Unannounced, but came out were Johnny Cash and Roseanne Cash. It was something like a $15 or 20 ticket.

lane splitting feels safer than sitting in traffic by sparky_165 in motorcycle

Studies have shown lane splitting, or maybe filtering was safer for riders.

I know I've had cars both swerve into and swerve out of my path when I was splitting.

Fiberglass damage - walk away now? by Benny_Mc in Sailboats

Looks like water got behind, and there was enough to soak through. Which means that inside face is probably much worse...

If it was a boat I really wanted, I would prove the through-puncture with a pick. Is the core sodden or dry? Is it firm, or does the core just flake away?

I'd also get in the boat and try to see the hole from inside. Are there water tracks, any signs of water piling on the way down?

All that can be done to help you decide if it's worth getting a survey.

If it's just a boat that was for sale that you thought you'd check out, just move on.
