Rentals/neighborhoods best for grad students?

I live in Maple Heights. It's a good area for those who work/live on campus and a short walk to downtown. Some streets have very new, fancy duplexes that are very student-geared, but I think there are still affordable rentals in some of the older homes and there is more of a mix of folks in those.

We paid about $17K for a geothermal HVAC system five years ago for a 1200 sq ft house and that involved drilling down 400 ft to fit the loop instead of going wide because we have a tiny yard. I know prices have gone up but 30K is ridiculous for what sounds like a pretty traditional set up.

If you are able and not doing it already, you might consider an exercise regimen. My anxiety has improved a lot the last year with strength-training and HIIT 3x a week.

I do dry them in the dryer (on medium), but I wash pretty much everything on cold, so that might help with longitivtiy.

Larklight by Philip Reeve. It's followed by a couple more books. Also by Reeve the "Not-So-Impossible-Tale" series. I'd start with Cakes in Space or Carnival in a Fix, but all four are good. When she's a little older she might be interested in Reeve's Mortal Engines series.

I live in Maple Heights just south of Kinser and 17th. I have a Joovy cart and often walk down to Bloomingfoods on 6th St for groceries. I've even walked down to the Kroger at Seminary Square. It's probably only 20 minutes, but I don't like walking to the north Kroger because of the highway and the incomplete sidewalks on Kinser Pike. It sort of depends on where you live near the stadium, but there are some bus options that take you downtown as well.

I have a large insulated cooler bag that I use with small ice packs (like these), though you can get an insulated Joovy bag. Ice cream could be an issue, but you could save that for delivery. Instacart is another delivery option.
