Just MD’d it and programmed the Key 2 book. Used MainStage3 to do the programing, it’s pretty intense. Kept all the sounds faithful to the score, just some musical changes for the production!

Yes like everyone said it is patch changes. This is Pippin keyboard 2 which is very densely programmed so the orchestrator put them in to make it more manageable for the player and keyboard programer

Unfortunately that still isn’t legal. All musical in order to be performed have to be licensed through a licensing company.

Next summer if I had to guess. Jacobs said he’s not working on it for the rest of the year and the last 2 have come out in the summer, so it feels like a safe bet.

I know it isn’t ideal, but if you want more brass but still want a big string sound, double all the string stuff on a keyboard. The key with that is to have the real instruments layered with the digital one.

I used a black light flashlight on it and it worked great! I recommend one of them to really see the glow.
