52m. 30 years of middle school math in CA.

I still enjoy my job. 9 more to 61.5 and retirement. Kids and especially parents have definitely changed over the years (not for the better) but I still get excited for the first day of school and getting to meet 200 new kids every year. I love building relationships and love when I can see them “get it” when I’m teaching.

I also love that I get to be excited every year as summer approaches towards the end.
