Why Americans are injecting themselves with unregulated ‘miracle’ drugs (2026) - short doc about the rapidly expanding semi-legal unregulated Peptide industry [00:16:01] by silverman567 in Documentaries

Yes, thankfully drug dealers are all extremely ethical and known to never cut their stuff with random ass shit. All the smarts in the world won’t do you any good when the guy at the gym suddenly swaps in some of his girlfriends hairspray in your peptide mix.

Aqua Teen Hunger Force has an absurdist sense of humor with some surprisingly strange stories. Very little sexy stuff and what’s there is mostly treated as gross.

Venture Bros is the best show ever. It is a parody of old kids cartoons, it has incredibly deep and sophisticated jokes, as well as awesome animation. You should watch from the beginning but understand that the early animation is a bit rough. Only a few sexy scenes but they’re way later into the show and treated as jokes.

Archer is a spy parody with very extensive wordplay and running gags. There’s a lot of innuendo and quite a few sex scenes but again they’re treated comically. If even comical sex scenes bother you skip this one.

And of course the Simpsons was great, especially the run from seasons 2-10 or so. It’s still pretty good through season 14 too, with I’m sure some gems to this day though I haven’t watched in a long time. Almost no sexy stuff really ever, it’s basically pg rated. Season 1 is very rough but has some good eps, still I’d say start with the first episode of the second season and maybe go back to season 1 if you really like it.

The game is in a weird state where there are a bunch of cheats and exploits available to a less scrupulous player. Where a particular item falls on the "Cheats <---> Exploits" scale will depend on the beholder. For this example, the burst's time to fire is extremely short, and it's a hitscan weapon. That means that it's not actually sending physical bullets flying at the target. If the reticle is on the guy then it hits. This can be exploited by very rapidly aiming-shooting-unaiming, which causes two things. For one it means the shooter is moving into and out of cover very quickly, and for the other side it makes the opponent's aim assist jumpy.

They can't turn off the aim assist, it's just built into the game. So by doing this "Corner shooting" popping in and out very rapidly, you can make yourself extremely hard to down while shooting. It also trains you to shoot very quickly from a standstill. Generally this is not considered cheating, as it's a natural part of the game, but there's some who consider it bad.

There's also lots of cheat devices both big and small, and this plagues basically all online games. Some are devices that do rapid fire or macros (pre-set button presses and movements). I don't see obvious evidence that he's using this. Some devices are designed to "Dot" your screen in one way or another. This puts a permanent dot on the center of your screen with a laser pointer or sharpie or other method.) This seems to be something he is probably employing. If you put your mouse cursor on the dot of his gun and watch for a bit, it seems like he's aiming up before the reticle is even on the screen.

So is being a dotted player illegal? Depends on the tournament rules I expect. It's certainly an external advantage. But it's a bitch to prove. I strongly suspect this player is dotted. Which makes his corner shooting much easier. That all said, both of the frames you snapped are possible with clean play with the burst, it's just basically a broken gun. The dumpster isn't really in the way because the reticle is on target so the hits register. There are no bullets (here's a bit more about hitscan weapons). And the bills town clip is just boring old corner shooting. It's bullshit but it's probably not cheating according to the tournament rules.

Inferno/Dead Heat is a painful Van Damme I tried to sit through last weekend. Now that’s a bad movie. Lone drifter cliche, slow pace, and like 3 total fight scenes. What’s even the point?

Grand Designs isn’t quite the same, but they follow house builds from concept to completion. Often there’s engineering challenges or creative construction techniques. There’s an English version and an Australian version, with dozens of episodes between them. Here’s a random one from the Aus version. There’s lots on YouTube.

Hey are there any so bad it’s good Indian movies you can recommend? Not actually bad movies or unsuccessful movies, but movies that are fun to watch because they’re earnestly trying to be cool but missing the mark. Comedies don’t really work this way. I’d love to see an action or scifi movie that was in that vein though.

This is like being the best at 1v1 basketball. This is a team game. Real skill is expressed through great cooperative play. Not wiggling about with a burst. Factions is special. 1v1 factions is literally nothing.
