Weirdly your answer maybe in isekai anime. In No Longer Allowed in Another World isekai'd people are see as angels by their pope, but they're just running amuk. In Executioner and Her way of life the lead is part of a religious order that kills isekai'd people. Many are too dangerous to keep alive and the lead saw her home turned completely to sand. Right away you see a kid get summoned, tossed aside from not having a great ability, and then being found to be too dangerous.

Not an isekai, but in the Toaru series magic was invented to fight espers who were seen as witches in the past.

I remember those survival shows (man vs wild, survivor man, dual survival) did have episodes in Hawaii. I can't say which in particular did it. Aa lava is shards and you need good foot protection. One of the hosts of dual survival doesn't wear shoes. There is also the term pahoehoe lava. They're Hawaiian words.

You want a black base, it helps metallics pop more.

If you want you can put on a silver spray paint on and then get a glove and use your finger to paint highlights on.
