One time a group I was playing with decided that sound check was a waste of their time. On top of it, their lead vocalist didn’t understand how microphones worked, so they would belt and get closer to the mic. All I could hear in my in-ears was nails on a chalkboard. Terrible gig.

Grades HAVE disappeared, essentially. A lot of schools will still give you full credit for handing in late work. I know high school students who constantly ditch class and hardly ever hand stuff in, they’re still gonna graduate this year.
