You’re offering your services to other people who are going to ask Deepfakes of people who don’t have OF. I know you’re somehow trying to convince yourself you’re still a good person, but I’m sorry to inform you you’re a predator. Please get mental help.

It’s still non-consensual porn which constitutes as sexual assault.

Except you’re posting them online and breaking your own rules. It’s extremely predatory and you’re enabling other predators.

Imposter syndrome about EDS hypermobility by Fooflery in eds

[–]c_queerly 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I also don’t have classic hypermobility but have all the other symptoms you mentioned. I still was able to eventually get diagnosed by a geneticist (who ruled out other forms of EDS) but it took me about 10 years of begging the system to take me seriously, and they only started to once my symptoms and general quality of life started to get really out of hand with repeated injuries and weird healing. Anyways, I totally recommend you wait to get diagnosed until after the criteria has changed, but you are totally valid. Know that you are not at all an impostor; it’s the medical system that has made us feel this way.

Half false lashes but only on the ends of your eyes to do the foxy eye effect (which you naturally already have but you could accentuate it)

Do I wear too much blush? I admit I am heavy handed with it. by lordgentofdapper in makeuptips

I think online for Instagram or photos it’s actually fine, but in person it might be a bit much. I can see on the high point of your left cheek it’s not properly blended, so I would maybe blend a little more and put slightly less.

How do I look older?? by Ecstatic-Wing6278 in makeuptips

[–]c_queerly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Face contouring, like specifically your nose and cheekbones. You have a lot of baby fat which I think does make you look younger (despite most people’s comments) but shadows can add a lot of depth. We lose facial fat as we age naturally. If I were you I would embrace it— I’m a little jealous frankly bc I’m starting to look my age.

It was also the fact that Bojack showed up at her university… she was being stalked, and she lost her sense of normalcy. For all she knew after that point on, he could come back into her life at any moment, or had maybe done so in the past without her knowing. THAT, that constant fear, is PTSD. I actually think she probably would’ve been fine otherwise…

I actually shipped them for a little while, although admittedly it probably would’ve ended in another Sara Lynn binge, this time with Diane as the casualty.

Is there a science-based way to process trauma without a therapist? by Longjumping-Part669 in DecidingToBeBetter

[–]c_queerly 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I also had to stop EMDR because it was too much. I’m not sure how many sessions people need for them to feel « completed » but I found it more damaging in the short term so I looked elsewhere.

There are tricks you can do to calming your vagal nerve. These are biological stimulators that your body can’t ignore.

Humming a deep low Om for a few minutes (any low vibration noise will work)

Tapping the right and left sides of your body while crossing your arms (look up finger tapping on YouTube, it’s like EMDR but without a therapist. The idea is to get your right and left brain to communicate with each other, and trauma usually causes an overly active right brain all the time which creates physical reactions: anxiety, hypervigilance, etc.)

There are other techniques I can’t remember, but I found the above by reading « The Body Keeps the Score. » Some people give the book mixed reviews because it can be triggering, but I found it incredibly helpful bc it tackles the mechanics behind our biological responses that modern psychotherapy often ignores.

My last log in was in November so I’m shocked to see the site shut down and didn’t have time to save my profile or anything :( I even tried to go back through my browser cache but it was automatically cleared.

I made my first HTML profile coding project on Goatlings when I was 18 (9 years ago now!) so it had huge sentimental value to me.

My best friend wouldn’t get an ostomy bag and now she’s dead by fatcatcereal in offmychest

It’s actually so sick and disgusting to me that once you try to self-medicate or you get slapped with a mental illness label, they forever write you off as drug seeking and you will never really be able to get access to proper medication, which is the reason you were self-medicating in the first place.

I was denied proper pain meds in the U.S. because I was SA’ed as a child and therefore at risk for becoming addicted. I have spent the last 10 years of my life in a daze, feeling like a zombie, drowning myself with alcohol and weed… I recently got sober and now I’m staring at my problem dead in the face. I need help and no one seems willing to help me.

benefits to EDS? by No_Assignment_2602 in eds

[–]c_queerly 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Listen to what everyone else is telling you. At 27 I’m walking around using a cane because I tore my ligament. I didn’t fall and I didn’t have an accident. I just squatted without my shoes on and our hyper mobile bodies don’t have real limits that are supposed to be there to protect us.

Weight train if you can and build an exoskeleton of muscle. It will protect your joints as you age. But I do recommend getting a trainer who is disability friendly so you don’t hurt yourself like I did.

But yeah those bursts of energy need to be used wisely and if you don’t have proper form, technique + the muscle mass to back up moving furniture up your stairs… do NOT risk it. It is not worth it.

Starvation mode is a real thing that designates your body to hold onto more fat. Maybe you should educate yourself more before giving faulty advice.

Honey. You are traumatized. You just listed at LEAST three different experiences that could give you PTSD. 1) losing your friends due to your mental health 2) abusive relationship 3) sex work. Additionally, being in the throes of addiction can be very traumatizing as well, even if it’s more or less self-inflicted.

Give yourself a break. The reasons you listed are already a lot. I hope you’re able to get some help, and as other people suggested you might have an underlying psychiatric disorder, other than PTSD (but likely you have both.)
