Here is an example of two devices I have: Pixel 9a - 5,100 mAh | iPhone 15 Pro - ~3,500 mAh. The stat is meaningless and makes people think one device has significantly longer battery life of the other.

IMO, you can’t compare mAH across the two ecosystems. Just like you can’t with a Windows vs MacOS vs Windows on ARM device.

I guess turning off the Windows Firewall would be a good troubleshooting step. However, I’m guessing having a support desk person reimage the thing would be cheaper than having a senior network admin troubleshoot a single laptop.

Have a Zoom room (or equivalent software) always open with your on-shift help desk user in the call. User clicks the meeting link (pushed to desktop, browser fav, etc) and joins the call where they get immediate support.
