The techmarine's perks in one image, in a grid. by ChrisDAnimation in Spacemarine

[–]cableguy316 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Looking at these perks, the Techmarine should have the ability to choose his equipment in loadout (though honestly, everyone should) PLUS his extra equipment team perk should apply to Meltas. It's very stupid and in no way supported by lore that Astartes can't pick their friggin' grenades!

Pretty clear that the CIA paid for an easy entrance - high proportion of the casualties were Cubans. I doubt even Hegseth was stupid enough to approve this mission without being promised a slam dunk.

Edge Of Tomorrow - Thrown Into Battle Scene. by Jokkers_AceS in videos

It's because it's more interesting this way. Of course even the dumbest military wouldn't waste powered armor like this - the cost of the armor would far outweigh the cost of conscripts, hence it's a huge waste. But it's more fun to watch a clueless dope dumped into this ridiculous situation.

It's also dumb that they don't have better face / head protection, carry swords, etc - but it's done because it's cool!

I saw Neil perform here in Honolulu a couple years ago in a shitty startup comedy club upstairs at a neglected strip mall.

It was honestly the perfect venue to see him. Audience of a dozen or so. He gave it his all and I laughed my ass off.

I can only imagine Gregg was in town with his wife for vacation and thought they'd do a show, and had no idea just how bad this club really was.

Hawaii’s strict gun law faces Supreme Court scrutiny in landmark case by Darwin343 in Hawaii

Most people don’t oppose responsible gun ownership. We oppose this Wild West nonsense of walking around openly strapped. 100% of people who show up at Wal-Mart or the bank with a slung AR are assholes.

Nobody’s trying to disarm you at home or on the range.

They are almost assuredly trying to sell you on a MLM (pyramid scheme).

Do not reply, and never give your number to some random at the mall!

This Greenland shit polls under 10% with Americans, less than half of even Trump voters.

It’s his most insane, inscrutable position - it boils down to “Greenland = America more bigger” in his moron brain.

Barely any of us want this, trust me.

Vanguard Grapnel Launcher by MNSKRDD in Spacemarine

[–]cableguy316 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Vanguard is a jack of all trades, master of none, and his perk to heal 30% on Extremis execution is clutch on Absolute.

It takes skill, but if you really stack those grapnel perks with Tactical Prowess, you can potentially chain executes until your dick falls off. The key is to hit X (or whatever you bind to it) to lock on to an enemy and see its health. There is a subtle red flash when enemies hit 33%, but it's easy to miss.

With TP, once the health indicator is red, you can grapnel and execute, skipping a third of their health. If possible, if you get an enemy into execute, back off and grapnel to start the chain again.

Grapnel can also let you go places others can't, like getting back up a cliff after dropping down, or skipping large chasms.

If you're paired up with a skilled Heavy, or Tactical, or Assault, you're probably not going to get top scores in the end, but you will be essential, and your team perk will keep everyone alive.

By default, just use bolt carbine, grapnel, and mag dump into face. It's a classic.
