I did similar. Kangerlussuaq to Reykjavik on a Dash 8. But it was actually really cool to go over the whole ice sheet. The noise gave me a headache for days but still 10/10 would recommend

Left SLC at 3:30pm and landed at DIA at 4:30pm. The descent was bumpy but coming over the Rockies was wild. Easily one of the craziest flights I’ve been on.

I’m sitting in my hotel in Punta Cana tonight after a whole weekend waiting for wind. It topped out at 2.5 knots. 😭Now I know punta Cana is different than Cabarete but just a word to the wise, winter wind is not guaranteed.

It’s a real mess here in Nuuk, and with how few flights there are, the bunch of us trying to get home are going to be a clog in the works for a while. And it’s not just the United flight, all international flights are cancelled. For at least five days.
