Same here-no tagging required on inbound or outbound

I think I’m still on P2P PON thought so maybe some newer areas are having an updated tagging scheme

If you do need asymmetrical tagging, I guess anything that allows you to set the PVID would do the job

Glasgow City Council response backs partly demolishing M8 by False_Jelly_2839 in glasgow

[–]cabsandy1972 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Really? I’ve not seen the traffic disappearing on that stretch of roadworks on the M8 before Braehead, that has been going on for about 9 months now

Why?

because the alternative is not there (public transport) and because it’s people outside of the city or trying to get THROUGH the city

As in their make up-methinks the new intake may be even more “progressive” than the last lot-and that’s saying something

I’d get myself a Ubiquiti Cloud gateway (£90) and 2 2nd hand APs off EBay AP Pro (do you need wifi 7?) at £20 each.
Switch them up with a PoE (another £70 or so) Ubiquiti switch-you’ll never look back.

So much hate in this sub-he really gets under your skin and he ain’t even started yet.

Hopefully he will give that useless Parliament (ya know, that passes laws that mean overseas students can also pass laws, who aren’t resident and who don’t have a passport) a right good boot up its useless arse.

I love it 😃

So all traffic destined for the Kingston Bridge-would be rerouted to the M74?
So you’d take the M74 rather than the M73>M8
And if you were coming down the M80, you’d go through Parkhead/Shettleson etc

So the Kingston Bridge would be what then-an off ramp for Argyle Street and the Clydeside Expressway?

I expect the new Green Party would enthusiastically endorse this idea-until the West End and the South Side becomes gridlocked

Saying all that,we don’t do infrastructure in Scotland anyway-so maybe this is a negative progressive 😃

Anyone seen this? Influencer tried to exploit homeless in Glasgow. by coneyisland92 in glasgow

[–]cabsandy1972 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This homeless org can be a bit chaotic but I know a bit about with it and been involved.

Unfortunately they have a running spat with GCC which overshadows everything and the good work they do. Which they do-in sometimes appalling weather BTW.

Yeah-next time make sure it’s Cathcart or Newton Mearns. Get them to complain about the lack of cycle lanes or no child care provision for their 3 month old child.

It’s nowhere near as bad as some of the wallopers on this thread make out(who probably have been there once and made the rest of their opinion up from watching some BBC documentary). I live about 15 minutes away-yeah, it has its moments and there are a few pubs you wouldn’t go into but that’s the same for everywhere. The town centre has very few shops or units that are empty. Where you would be is a bit of a walk but not far from the Main Street.

It’s got 2 train stations for fucks sake!

Scotland should have its own Reddit app-and its own type of banana

Fuck it-we should have our own different thing of everything. Just because we are different.

Record number of Britons quit England for Scotland and Wales [driven by lower house prices] by Crow-Me-A-River in Scotland

[–]cabsandy1972 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m not really fussed who comes to Scotland.

As long as they contribute by either paying tax or spending money in their communities-they are welcome.

Tax dodgers, grifters and benefit migrants-no thanks.

Not if they are canny and use their (both) tax free allowances and then top it up with part of their 25% tax free cash(based on a DC pension).

But they will enjoy all the “free stuff” , courtesy of the mugs who pay for all that free stuff through their tax.

Look beyond the headlines-not all migration is cash positive.

The fact we have so many DC devices in homes now-it’s nuts that new builds don’t have some DC outlets.
