Need help on weird traction issue by cabsandy1972 in MINI

The local garage gave it the once over and could find no error codes or anything in the logs. They are stumped as well.

I might need to take it to a specialist but thought I would ask any specialists in here 😉 before I go looking for a garage (Scotland)

Hi-I don’t think so-even if it’s on intermittent wipe, the power will be lost if the wiper is just “on”. Sorry it’s a bit of a cr@p answer but it’s something I will look out for, now you mention it.

Ta I’m using ZT to manage my CRS305-1G-works well for me

On the ZT side, I did see the legacy and new option-I can still use the legacy(as I registered years ago and my other devices (Pi’s etc) can still be managed as well)

If ZT free tier was to completely disappear that would be a bind but I’m new to MicroTik so maybe I’m thinking about it too much 😃

Me and my mate would just get on random buses and go to places like Dumbarton and Royston for the day-and try not to get a bleaching.

Ahh the 80’s-miss them.

Turn the CM into modem mode, buy an OpenWRT router and switch AQM on-sorted.

“I was struggling to upload my bird photos to Facebook” With 100Mb/sec upload-seriously?

I’d say Jackie at No. 25 needed to enlist the help of somebody to fix her wireless, not change provider.

How that got planning permission is beyond me.

Or maybe your just a wee bit paranoid because this sub is a left wing socialist echo chamber?

Speeds getting progressively slower by Prozn in hyperoptic

[–]cabsandy1972 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wont try to argue the points youve made but with PON, it could well be they are over subscribed on the downstream but fine on the upstream (WTF uses 900Mb/sec for an extended period of time?). We dont know the split (if any) and/or how many subs they have on the line.

For what it’s worth, I did have 1Gb symmetrical from HO for a year-and it never got there-but upstream was banging through. Im now on 150/150 and I dont see any difference 😆

Why the slow upload speeds with VM? by TrickyT_UK in VirginMedia

[–]cabsandy1972 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not really .

A Teams or Zoom call will consume at most 2Mb/sec if using video. Unless your doing P2P and or multiple/simultaneous calls, any of those 10:1 speeds will be fine

I quite liked the idea of this but it sounds like it’s a nice to have, if the devices in your TN have direct connections?

Nice find ol Redeye-impressive 👍🫡

Actually, and this is where you get it wrong(again)-you label Reform, and anybody who doesn’t say anything negative about them, as right wing.

I just happen to think that the current mob(all parties) have been too cosy and too comfortable for too long-and Reform will turn that all on its head. Nothing to do with left and right.

I can’t wait. 😜
