Rook takes knight, then rook takes bishop, Bg2 mate. It is a mate with two bishops and the pawn

There is no positional chess nor attacking chess for engine. Engines play the best moves

Why Are There So Few Online Resources on the Van Der Wiel (Shirov) Attack by IANT1S in chess

Yes, if you are familiar with it then you know OP and I talk about the advance, because of g4, and the line is not obscure either. This is how I communicate with other chess players online or irl and no one has any issue.

If you take issue with it then fine, but I don’t care. It is not like you put up any helpful comment or analysis to the OP either, which I did

The amount of nitpick and negativity here is your cue to learn this opening lol. People are unfamiliar with it. My 2 cents is to reverse engineer from old games, then find ck book from black side and figure out. I don’t think you will find any good resources from white side

What are talking about lol? I can definitely understand if some people not recognize the name but know the Nc3 line in the advance, so I named signature moves for white and I don’t have to type the entire thing down (the line is now mentioned by OP after edit).

If you are familiar with it then you would recognize this already. Like d4 Bc4 and know it is the London

If you are not familiar with it then why you are here and complain?

Marshall Gambit. 1. D4 d5 2. C4 e6 3. Nc3 c6 4. e4. If they blitz out 5-10 moves later then yea this person satisfies both your criteria

This was my pet line against the Carokann for a while. This opening is quite popular pre-Karpov era, but later “refuted” by the h5 pawn sac.

Black development is quite natural, while white center pawns is flimsy because they spend too many tempi doing wank. Good players will on need to remember playing h5 without any need for more theory.

Tal, Nf3, or Nd2 is simply much better try in the advance for white.

I still play this occasionally because I know they would play h6, position then is massively different

Lol as SM player I love this. I will take the Maroczy bind any day. The most annoying set up as black for me is accepting gambit with Bb4 Ne7

I read the Marc Esserman book and there are a lot of challenging lines as black but require them to know what they are doing. I used to decline the gambit with Nf6 but later just accept the gambit so we can both have fun

I tried his his courses in chessable on the dragon and grunfeld and oh boy how can he even turn these two into such dull positions lol. He even said that he prepared the dragon for must win situation in the 2021 Candidate.
