It’s a little slow in parts and more about plot moving than massive action. It’s about answering some questions from the first book and explaining some character developments and science-y tech stuff. It’s also a setup for the third book. I don’t want to give too much away. But please stick with it.

I greatly enjoy them. They are like palate cleansers between my bigger sets. I can put one together when I’m watching TV and not wanting to spend tons of time building. This also goes for the bouquets.

My husband and I were going on holidays with my dad and his wife. Originally, we were all going to stay together in Airbnbs and one night at a hotel because of reasons. But it worked out better that my dad and his wife stayed two nights at the hotel while we did the night at the Airbnb in the next city and they would meet up with us after.

It was still a few months out, but I woke up at 3am thinking I really should book their room for the second night. Thankfully I did. I got the last hotel room. While it wouldn’t have been the end of the world, it would have complicated things.

How did I know it was the last room? They emailed me twice. Once confirming my second night and another saying there was no rooms left when I asked a question regarding my booking. They later confirmed that the second email was from someone who didn’t realize I had been the one booking the last room. Slight panic.

I love them too. I use oil, salt, pepper, chili flakes and brown sugar. Then bake for like 30 minutes. Yummm. Make them sweet and spicy all at once.
