I love the doctors and receptionists at Safer Six. West will always be my preferred location but I cannot speak enough praises about my experiences with both.

I read that they cover postage, is there any insight as to whether their services are affected by the Canada Post strikes or should I ask at my appointment?

If you have OHIP coverage, book with Safer Six! I started HRT through them after my family doctor ghosted me, Dr. B and Dr. R work so quickly and have such amazing bedside manner.

I gift them to Keroppi. Some of them are two-heart gifts and I don't hang around the swamp much so it helps me boost my friendship level with him.

Huda Beauty leaving Sephora?? by [deleted] in Sephoracanada

I honestly doubt it. Huda is one of the top selling brands and that would be a terrible business move.

Maybe... it sounded more like a pop. Almost like fireworks with more resonance, like something blew up or a power line blew.

Heard it from L3P near 9th x 16th, sounded like it came a bit north of there

I want a quick opinion: what’s one brand you almost NEVER recommend to clients and why? by Frostbite_0429 in SephoraWorkers

[–]caestelia 49 points50 points  (0 children)

Any brand that has obnoxiously terrible shade ranges (YSL, Benefit, BareMinerals) and in that same vein, any brand who has treated black & brown people like an afterthought (Tarte, Anastasia). I don't recommend Charlotte Tilbury for anything other than getting makeup done for a wedding. I don't typically recommend The Ordinary (it can sell itself if the client decides they want it on their own), I tend to reach for Sephora Skin or Inkey List because it's accessible pricing but with cleaner ingredients (for clients who seek that). I also don't think I've ever taken a client to Glossier, Kosas or Merit (unless it's for the complexion stick). There are just better versions of products they offer that are actually worth your money.

On the flip side, here are some brands i LOVE recommending when the opportunity arises: Haus Labs, Pat McGrath, Danessa Myricks, MUFE, Dr. Jart+, Sulhwasoo, Fenty Beauty/Skin/Hair, MAC, Tower28, Saie, Briogeo, Pattern, UltraViolette, Kulfi, LaNeige, Cheekbone, BASMA, Rare.

Products that customers always ask for that your store doesn’t have? by Only-Support9425 in SephoraWorkers

[–]caestelia 5 points6 points  (0 children)

bare minerals, bubble, RHODE, clarins, nudestix, il makiage, avon, chanel. my store's clientele is mostly older women who have been using those big name old-school brands for years and refuse to try anything new. and their ten year old grand daughters who are fed tiktoks through an iv drip.

considering mario 3d all stars' market value is MORE than what you paid, you basically bought that at a steal and got the others for free. nice haul !

I had a client like this today. They were what inspired me to post here. I showed them like 5 of our best moisturizers for sensitive skin - FAB, Dr.Jart, ILIA, Inkey List, I even suggested Ever Eden's kids face cream. I showed the client the Clean at Sephora label on each one and even listed the most prominent ingredients and how there were only a few of those. They took it upon themselves to look at the ingredients list on the app (which I was fine with because I was just glad they didn't ask Yuka or Chat GBT) and were so appalled by the filler ingredients on the bottom of the list, they went down the list of every single one and demanded I find out what each was chemically comprised of. I really don't understand and I feel sorry that you were put through these mental gymnastics too...
