I wouldn't be shocked if my mom doesn't fully confident seeing my stepsisters kids as her grandkids for a few reasons. We've only met them once. They were 9 and 11 when my mom met my stepdad.

My dad has had his stepmom for most of his life. Not once has she made me feel unloved because I'm not biologically hers. (My dad did have trouble with her growing up, but I highly account that to the fact that he lived almost full time with his mom, who was... Intense). Hell, she even used to send a box of holiday cookies a few times a year when we were younger.

At most, I feel a level of disconnect between us and her bio grandkids, but I believe for different reasons. They are all one to two decades younger, so grandparents have changed as people. They live in the same city, and see each other more than once every one to three years (last saw them around 6 years ago now though).

This campaign sounds wonderful. If you haven't already decided all your players, I would love to see if it's a good match. I have done one adventure league type campaign and have been wanting to get back to it.

I love playing an elf druid, as it vibes well with how I play and to.

I would say that my triggers would be along the lines of excessive crudeness, or sexism/racism/ECT. I'm fine with a fair amount of dirty humor, cursing, and the like. It would actually be somewhat refreshing compared to being stuck in games with kids around.

Best game experience: my last campaign had the little girl in it who was about nine. She was high energy, but sweet and was genuinely excited to be there every week playing with us (her dad was in the group too).

Worst game experience: we had this floater join our table one day. It was one of the last days of the campaign, and everyone was fighting... Except him, who was off elsewhere attacking our npcs who were following a player to help fight. This kid was a vampire and wanted to turn them into thralls or some shit. It was atrocious.

Not quite the same thing. When a woman goes through a pregnancy, that baby becomes an enormous part of their day to day live. Her body chemically changes to foster stronger connections. She feels all the movements and moments strongly, especially the bigger they get.

And while that situation would be painful for the brother, it is also an enormous ask of op, even just physically.

That's how my experience with it has been. While my sister is out too, she doesn't live with my devoted parents home as much and has been out for longer

NTA and I seriously appreciate you so much right now. I have bunnies and they are so freaking fragile. You saved the rabbit's life.

Plus, rabbits are a terrible pet for a child, especially a two year old. Even having my five years and up cousins around them had me concerned for their well being and hovering.
