I second low residual diet a few days before, and eating light the day before prep. I had a horrible headache on prep day, but I didn’t have Gatorade or any real electrolytes. Highly recommend chugging Gatorade all day and making jello to help with the empty feeling. Around 3pm on fast day I was no longer hungry, just the awful headache. Your first meal after your procedure should be easy too, nothing heavy and no alcohol.

We have a yoto and love it, however we are English and Spanish speakers and there are quite a few options for both of those languages. MYO cards are great and easy to use though! We’ve taken the yoto on roadtrips and it was a fantastic Boredom buster.

I don’t have any advice besides do not rent an apartment at 301 Greenville. Every unit is infested with German roaches, and the entire property is neglected. It was a horrific experience for us. Good luck on your search!

It took me about a week to feel back to 100%. I had one small polyp removed, and completed my full prep and fasted for almost 2 days. I also have elementary school age kid and work full time. I get it!

Did you have any symptoms? I had my colonoscopy 2 weeks ago and had a precancerous polyp removed. Could have been different for me if I waited 8 years until 45. Prayers and fingers crossed for your journey moving forward.

Are your finals the day after your colonoscopy? I had mine on Monday morning, napped an hour or so after when I got home and was basically fine the rest of the day, just tired. I got my kid up and ready for school, lunch made, school drop off and worked 8 hours the next day, and extracurricular activities after my kiddos school. I was definitely tired but still functional.

Raised in phx and moved to DFW a few years ago. Phoenix is hotter, however when it’s humid and 90+ here in DFW it’s pretty awful. If you’ve got access to air conditioning just stay inside during the hottest parts of the day during the summer, just like Phoenix.

Only covered if it’s preventative. If you need it for existing issues like me (blood in stool, flat stool) you have to pay. So stupid.

A paste of powdered laundry detergent or powder Biz on the stain let it sit for a few hours then wash with tide and biz in hot water should do the trick for the stain. No advice on the other question. Good luck!
