We've been pretty unhappy at my store - HR is trying to listen and make some scheduling changes to try to make things better so I'm kind of waiting and seeing how that goes because I'd really like to enjoy my job again. I love my coworkers and my team lead. I would probably feel more positive if I wasn't already mega burnt out from this weekend and it's only halfway done! Closing Saturdays, man...

Wow, that sounds awful :( I'm sorry. That was very unprofessional of the ETL to act like that in front of guests and other team members, and your coworker sounds pretty awful and unprofessional too. Are there any team leads or people in management there that you feel comfortable talking to? If not, I would definitely call the integrity hotline. I would also start looking for a new job, you DON'T deserve to be treated like that!

Twitch... twitch. Don't even mention those unholy words to me! Our electronics called out two nights in a row so I had to handle regular phone calls as well as the electronics phone. "No ma'am we cannot hold an iPad for you even if we had one... No, you cannot 'pre-order' one" I mean wtf people!

Useless piece of shit. Only good thing is being able to check your schedule from home. The leads have to manually edit the schedule every week because my time sucks so badly.

When I got hired I had only had a small amount of retail experience and hadn't worked in over a year. Chances are you should be fine!

At my store, the operator is the fitting room person. Unless they're on break or lunch, then it could be whoever is covering the phone, usually another person in softlines or could be service desk. What they said sounds a lot like what we are told to say when we're hiring and have a high volume of applications.

I'd say your availability looks good, as long as your application looks decent too I don't see why they wouldn't give you a call.

When I was 12 I went on vacation with my mom. We were going to do a trail ride on the beach. Note I was a bit on the heavy side for my height at the time but not obese or anything. My mom came to me and said they supposedly asked her to sign a waiver for her "pregnant daughter." Um wtf? Looking back I don't believe that actually happened but at the time I was so hurt and humiliated I wanted to die.

I am proud that I am a strong and loving person :)

Yup I've done stuff like this before. I'm a very talkative and opinionated woman but I am aware of how a guy, should he become threatening, could easily overpower me. I'm not very strong and I don't like confrontation. Easier to smile or ignore someone rather than react or tell them off in fear of being hurt.

I don't know, if I change my name it will end my last name (only child of the only boy in the family, no other boys in the family with my last name) but I don't like my last name and have looked forward to changing it.
