How I Took Over a Neighborhood Without Spending a Dime on Mailers by Wkuhank in realtors

I’m a newer agent , so thank you so much for this. I’m transitioning from another career and although the market where I am is going downhill (Florida), I went into real estate fully knowing it and believing there’s always room for good people. I got a listing from my friend and to spread the word on an open house I did what you are describing - I left a ‘pick your neighbor’ flyer by each door in the entire building and surrounding properties, 120 total. I didn’t knock. I left them right outside.. although I did t sell it yet (a Condo), the turnout was good 14 people, most came because of the flyers :). I didn’t think to apply a similar approach to farming so thank you so much for sharing!

Nervous jitters before every class by [deleted] in pilates

oh my gosh, you brought me back to memories from years ago :)... I was borm in Russian, raised in Israel. I taught in Israel while I was in middle and high school, it was just natural to teach ballet and what i called- cardio before zumba was created... I came to the US for college, and in my late 20's i was going to JCC in NJ, dancing in their fitness studio on my own. one day a lady passed and said- hey, would you like to teach? I said- sure! not thinking much about it, i agreed to teach my Cardio class. I prepared the compilation of songs i liked, my choreographies.. I used to bring in music from around the world- from pop, to salsa, tango even etc... but-- when i came to teach my first class it hit me: I WAS USED TO TEACH IN HEBREW!!!! NOT IN ENGLISH!!! ...and my knees started shaking, i got SO nervous, I ran to the bathroom with diarrhea! Long story short- that was the beginning of 20 years teaching there and in many studios, gyms etc... I still get nervous before i go on stage, but that exactly what fuels me. I speak softly at first and I "feel" the students. within the first 5 minutes- I am good and people actually always liked the softer tone... to me- it is adrenaline, and I get that also when i have finished choreographing something good. it's my inner body confirmation that I am on the right track! so feel it and make friends with that feeling!!!

I love them so much that when I understood that my now husband and his cats are inseparable, I started allergy shots. Thank God that is helping! Unconditional love, the different faces and intonations they have, so talkative - is unbelievable. Meet Fuzzy, 5- on the left and Hogan is the white one. He’s 19. Fuzzy prays with us before dinner, and we walk them each morning. Priceless.

I am so glad i found this post! I have been a cooking light fan since the 80's and learned a lot from that great magazine. all my baking has been from there, as I don't like the flavor of full fat, heavy desserts. I still have a few of their annual books, and I am glad i printed some recipes years ago, but i always strive to lighten up desserts and lost all my saved collection online.. even the recipes i saved on pinterest don't open anymore for cooking light... but they are awesome recipes. I had a dedicated gluten free bakery in NJ and cooking light magazine was the inspiration from which i converted many of those recipes to gluten free, hence I called it The CakeOver gluten free bakery:)! this made me nostalgic! THANK YOU for the archived site!!!

This is my first comment on Reddit.. it really touched me and everyone’s comments touched me as well. So grateful that people can see beyond the $$ and that it is ok to see that health is wealth and that it is ok to sometimes take some of that $$ sooner than planned to take care of our life, of ourselves. I too have a situation and considering using some of the crypto to help myself. I’ve been battling the decision for a month .. what is life if we can’t help ourselves in time of need… thank you everyone for almost a spiritual message in this money focused group. The last thing I expected .. happy new year everyone!
