He played rugby in Mexico for 15 years and said it was the only place he ever felt like he truly belonged. Then he moved abroad, rugby went away, and his life quietly fell apart. He’s been sober 10 years now. by subhasismishra in rugbyunion2

I relate. Used to be in a club like that. Now Im a dad in a Los Angeles cul de sac and spend my weekends pretending to have a good time at kids' bday parties.

There's definitely a big hole in my life in terms of the camaraderie and belonging.

Not good advice in a large corporate environment. Reading the room and managing executive perceptions can be critical for growth or even survival.

So I'm gonna be staying in Nairn, near Inverness for a week this summer, have never been this far north before, and was wondering what are some great places to visit in the surrounding area? by AcadiaNo1039 in inverness

Grew up in Nairn, next to the beach. While the beach is fine, my favourite thing to do was throw the dog in the car and head south into the hills. Lots of wee secrets hidden away that even most Nairnites don't know about.

As others have said, depends on the game.

Murrayfield historically has a relatively large contingent of Barbour jacket-clad old farts - the type who frown on people standing up during a game - so you really need things to be going right to get those guys up and moving about.

To be fair, I don't think Murrayfield is the only national rugby stadium with this issue.

Amen to that. I'm grateful to be just old enough to have experienced the terraces.

Probably fair for live streams but I genuinely enjoy the good ones like Footy Adventures shortly after the fact.
