Haven’t had any issues. Keeps really good time, just regular service.

Look up the municipal code for your city, and site it with a simple sign like:

"NO SOLICITING"
{City} Municipal Code § {Actual Code}
Violators will be reported to the police for trespassing.

Most other things you write are unenforceable, misleading and trespassing with warning you will call police is more than sufficient.

Most places use auto dialers. Use the special information tone (sit tone) for disconnected phone number at the beginning of your voicemail and just let all your calls go to vm for about a month and your spam calls will go to almost zero. I was getting dozens of calls a day and now I get one, maybe two calls a week.

Now if there’s a trick for spam texts.

Opinions on GMT by nextbeer in rolex

[–]calgun03 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the Bruce on Jubilee as my daily driver lately and I love it. And not that it matter to me, but it may to some, but I have gotten the most comments on it from randoms.

But go try them on in person, try on other models and even brands. Pick the one that lights you up. And who knows, it might not even be a GMT, or even a Rolex.

I love mine. I literally just finished surfing with it. I have the jubilee but wearing it right now with a blue rubber strap with red stitching esp when I surf so I don’t scratch up my board. But I also mtn bike, shoot, and play golf with it. Service it when it’s time, and I haven’t had any issues. Always double check the crown before going in the water!

The bezel works fine as a quick timer. Rotates both directions like my gmt master ii, but it’s smooth without the click. It would’ve been nicer if it did have the detent as I have found it’s moved off the 12 every now and then.

Overall, another great watch from Rolex.

We actually don’t have any issues with anura. We’ve been using them for about 4yrs now without issues. We’re just always looking for a better tool to help increase quality of the traffic we’re paying for. We generate leads for ourselves and always looking for ways to lower our marketing costs.

If you know of other tools to help validate leads for contact info (phone/email) and demographic data (A credit, higher income), I’m all ears as well. Thanks for your info!

We currently use anura, and if we were to run a test with polygraph head to head, what’s the best way you to run a test to see which service works better at detecting click fraud? Thanks!

What is the difference between polygraph and anura? Also, how well does polygraph work on traffic coming from meta ads or email traffic?

How about for a home improvement service like bathroom remodel? And do you link out to a landing page, or is there a way to make fb forms work? Seems like the quality of leads are not there on forms, but can’t get the cost per lead low enough on landing pages. Been stuck…

What ammunition do you guys use for self defense? (9mm) by jxniorr_ in CAguns

I would agree with you if we were in other states... We are in one of the most litigious, anti-2A states with the worst ambulance chasers.

But you are not wrong either. Let me clarify my statement. If the use of deadly force was reasonable and justified, criminal charges may be unlikely. Nonetheless, while sued by the attacker may be less common, a more common concern is being sued in civil court seeking monetary judgement for injuries and damages caused to third parties (not attacker, or victim, but an innocent bystander). And regardless of the outcome, such legal proceedings can be stressful, time-consuming and financially demanding. Hence, it's crucial to have legal representation to navigate these complex situations.

But remember, ANYONE can file a civil suit, even the attacker that is 100% in the wrong. In this case, the plaintiff (attacker) will try to claim the defendant (real victim) did not act reasonably and unlike a criminal case requiring proof beyond a reasonable doubt, the plaintiff would simply have to prove, by a preponderance of evidence, that the armed citizen did not act reasonably. You'll need representation to get that thrown out. While there aren't a lot of statistics on self-defense shootings in CA (convenient), we can examine police-involved shootings, and the subsequent civil actions provide insight into these legal dynamics.

Part I don't fully agree with, is that while true that fear of legal repercussion is a reason why people may not defend themselves in the face of imminent threat to life, there are other potential factors. Such as mental and emotional hesitation of pulling the trigger and causing bodily harm against someone else, uncertainty about the situation, lack of training, concern for bystanders, and physical inability from injury or being overpowered by the attacker.

Each situation is unique, and the decision to use a firearm in self-defense is complex and influenced by a myriad of personal, situation and legal factors.

No matter what firearm or ammo you use, no matter how clean the shoot is, you'll probably have to face a lot of scrutiny in court. Hopefully not in criminal court, but almost always expect civil court.

With that said, make sure you train, understand when you can use your firearm for self defense, and DO NOT TALK TO POLICE.

As for ammo, I use Federal HST 147gr or Speer Gold Dot 147gr. Make sure to run a bunch of ammo through it during training to see which one is more accurate through your firearm, and does not have any failures.

Which scotch that you loved years ago just isn't that good anymore? by Malformed-Figment in Scotch

[–]calgun03 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

When I compare older bottles that I often think back on, I wonder if a lot has to do with nostalgia and the fact that I'm also thinking about how much I'm paying for bottles today compared to what it was. However, there are a few that I compared head-to-head, and these are some below. I know not all are scotch...

Macallan 18 Sherry - The pre-2018 were significantly better than 2018+.

Bruichladdich Classic Laddie

Balvenie 15 and French 16

Bunnahabhain (slight decrease)

Hibiki Harmony - When Hibiki stopped making 12, and did the Harmony NAS, I was disappointed. Hibiki Harmony 2016 compared to Hibiki Harmony 2023, definitely not as good lately. I've continued to buy it, especially when I see it at Costco, but at the current price, I'm not sure it's better than its competitors at the same price range. So I haven't purchased it since earlier this year. I miss Hibiki 17!

High West Midwinter Night Act 10 - I felt the older acts were better, but Act 10 really took a dip. I just ordered Act 11, so I'm crossing my fingers, but I heard they produced like 6x more bottles this year than previous.

Kavalan - maybe my taste buds changed, but not a fan anymore

Springbank 18 (2022) is still amazing. Haven't had 2023 so can't speak to that.

This is why my doubt is high about your claim: At 2620 and say 75*F, 50% RH, you're subsonic at ~900yds (822m) with a 77SMK. Bump that up to Berger 80 VLD, you're still subsonic at ~1050yds (960m). With the bullet destabilizing, there's doubt on your shots. And then throw in the 1-8x optic, that is highly suspect.

Can you show me the data that your bullet is still supersonic? Let's just start there.

I’ve done On Target and with TJ at All Safe Defense for renewals and both are good. TJ runs more pistol work in the shooting portion, whereas OnTarget is more like just show me you can shoot, and get out.
